Please help! I think I’m having a chemical pregnancy

Hi all, could you please see if my line is progressing at all?
Background: we ve been trying for a long time now. My first pregnancy was a chemical, then a mc, then third pregnancy at 14weeks baby was found to have monosomy x, fetal hydops, hypoplastic left heart, liver hernia, etc, the list of abnormalities deemed baby to be incompatible with life and I started developing preeclampsia.. so we terminated the pregnancy via induced labour. It has been so hard since then with lots of crying, no sleep and just feel absolutely devastated that my body is failing my desire to bear a healthy child into this world. We re trying again for 2 more rounds before ivf as we re waiting for our karotyping and other test results. I got BFP at 7DPO on FRER but the test has not gotten any darker at all and the last one at 12DPO got lighter. I just got blood work done today. Please help me see if I’m crazy or the line isnt getting darker and getting lighter

Sorry for your losses, OP. Upload after 48 hours and we'll see, but my standard answer would be that line darkness on pregnancy tests doesn't mean much anyway, as dye concentration can vary from batch to batch and there are a whole host of things that can impact upon how dark a test is.

As long as it's positive, take it as positive. Your blood test results will tell you more. I hope this pregnancy is sticky for you.

I've had 6 chemical pregnancies and 1 that is now sleeping next to me in between. All of my chemical pregnancies the tests didn't progress much and then got fainter, my little ones tests got darker quite quickly so for me that's my tell tale sign. Have you drank more than usual? It could be more diluted or if it's a one off lighter test it could be the amount of dye but I would say if it's a few and they're all getting fainter it sounds like it might be :( I really hope it's not but didn't want to give you false hope after my experiences ❤️
🤞🏻 for you the blood test should give you a more definite answer although I know it's awful having to wait for the results. Are they doing 2 blood tests to check the levels are increasing?

@Puntastic thank you for your kind words. When I got pregnant with my daughter with monosomy X the line progressed very quickly and by 15dpo i got a dye stealer. The other time when i had chemical it was much fainter and also didn’t progress at all... I’m so stressed out over this and so depressed it might not be my month again

@firsttimemummy321 i got the first draw today and another one on Wednesday... i have very little hope at the moment... I don’t know what else to do to have a baby here with me... it’s so hard to stay positive right now thinking i will miscarry this one soon :(

@Nking2021 sorry that you're going through this.

In the nicest way possible, please stop testing. The outcome will not change either way by comparing tests and it isn't good for your mental health. Also, technically, taking them apart makes them invalid.

I really hope that you have a positive outcome as you've had a really tough time of it in the past. I had a mmc myself two years ago and understand the desperation to be pregnant.

My mental health has been so ups and downs ever since ttc. I thought I finally got my happy ending with my baby girl until the 13weeks scan and everything (not only my baby but also my hopes and dreams) was gone within 2 weeks. I know it will be super hard ttc again but I am (as u put it) desperately want to have baby..
I didnt know taking them apart make them invalid? I thought will be better to compare them next to each other?
The next few days will be so hard to wait for the blood test result to come back.. sigh

@SemiFeralDalek thank you. It is so exhausting and sucking the life out of me. I don’t feel like I’m the optimistic person I used to be anymore. Now I’m just always on edge that I will have another “bad luck” .. could you please link me the thread? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks beforehand 🙏
