Any experiences of implantation bleeding?

So, I'll start by saying I think most of us who ever write a post like this are obviously hoping for a positive ending but I'm conscious that when TTC, life often doesn't work like that.

I'm 10dpo and it's my first proper cycle since stopping the pill in mid March. Yesterday I noticed some pink spotting, that went brown and then this morning I had a small amount of red bleeding. There's now barely any brown discharge again - and only on wiping. It certainly wasn't anything like a usual 'period',

I'm probably clutching at straws but has anyone had an experience of this which ended with a BFP? Or not? My period isn't due until 27th May according to my tracker (albeit it hasn't got a lot to go on.)

I'm planning to test tomorrow with an easy mom HCG test as they're 10miu. But driving myself to distraction so far. 😔

BFN but still brown discharge spotting albeit less so...

Same boat but I was also the same last month. Mine is linked to MMC in jan - cycles haven't got back to normal but last month instead of period had mostly brown spotting and now I'm on cd 39 and in the same situation 😤 It's very frustrating because gets your hopes up but from what I can gather brown spotting is often a sign of period incoming and your body getting rid of old blood...

That being said I am still mad enough to be hopeful and you aren't out til you get your period! X

I've had implantation bleeding with my first born and again recently as I'm now pregnant with my 3rd. I've also however had some periods that have come early by a few days and have started with spotting so I would say it could go either way. My most recent implantation bleeding started 2 days before I was due on so I just chalked it down as an early period, but then when it didn't turn into a flow I was a bit unsure whether it was my period or not. I tested 5 days after and had a clear positive. They do say it can take 48-72 hours after implantation to get a positive so you could try again in a day or 2. You're not out yet so fingers crossed for you 🤞 good luck xx

Thanks for replying @Lolajames - here's hoping for good news for both of us. I've remembered that I spotted a lot through pregnancy with DS1 but not before BFP so who knows 🤷‍♀️

That's really helpful @tittletattoo - I'm gonna try and hold on for a few more days and test again. Spotting has pretty much stopped now but I feel really bloated and uncomfortable. 🥴 Congratulations on your pregnancy - I'll keep this thread updated in case it helps anyone in the future.
