Hey guys,

I am being driven mental by this months cycle. I’m currently 8 days late. I took a test 6 days late mid day & it was BFN. I thought maybe because I do drink a fair amount i might have diluted the test. Took another test with first morning urine today & again BFN, both tests were FRER. My cycles normally bounce between 28-35 days. The longest cycle I ever had was 47 days (this was coming off of the pill) I have been told I have suspected endometriosis & endometrioma’s on my ovaries but my GP & the Gynaecologist won’t investigate it further due to me being 23yrs old. (My appointment with the Gynaecologist was all via telephone thanks to covid) I don’t know what’s going on with this cycle. I had my normal light back cramps around the time my period was due but the witch never came. I had on off cramping for a while but that stopped a few days ago. TMI I have had a creamy/clear discharge but nothing more.

My partner & I aren’t trying but also aren’t very strict on birth control. We are just letting be what will be. (Pull out method) according to my period app we did have sex around O but I know the apps aren’t really accurate. If my period isn’t here next week I am going to book a drs appointment. But I am wondering if maybe it’s to do with the endometriosis?! Or if it’s just a shy bean. I feel so completely stuck in limbo. It’s driving me nutty!

Hey @RainbowDreaming
There are several reasons why your cycles are longer suddenly. You could have ovulated late for example. Did you have to take any medication? Vaccine? Or maybe you were ill?
The thing is if you' don't track your ovulation you don't really know if you're late or not. Technically you're only late if your luteal phase is longer than usual.
Anyway fingers crossed that you'll get the outcome that you want. XX

I haven’t done anything different this month compared to other that’s why I am thrown for a loop, I’ve also never had af be so late before so it’s a strange one. Not taken any medication or vaccine etc. Not been stressed. My diet hasn’t changed. It’s very odd. I am now ten days late for af & no sign or symptoms of the witches future arrival either. It’s very odd.

It really is! I'd think about going to your GP or ob/gyn if AF doesn't arrive soon.

How weird - I'm also 8 days late with BFN, and my cycles are the same lengths as yours.

I do occasionally (about once a year) skip a period, so I'm thinking that sadly for me it's probably that. Apparently you don't actually need to go to the GP unless you've missed two or three periods in a row.

I'm being investigated for PCOS anyway, so perhaps it's to do with that. I really feel your pain though, I'm struggling not to secretly hope that I'm actually pregnant and for some reason it's not coming up on tests.
