What to expect in a chemical pregnancy?

Hi all,

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday I had my BFP. Tuesday and Today I've had the faintest lines possible (with FMU and throughout the day on both FRERs and Clearblue) so I understand I'm having a chemical pregnancy.

I have had a couple of light cramps, my symptoms (nausea, food aversions, heightened smell and breast tenderness) have started to fade and no bleeding.

Does anyone know when bleeding will start? I'm heartbroken enough as it is and I'm really just hoping to get this over with. I thought I would have started bleeding by now.

Any help please?

I'm so sorry you'll have to go through this! Even though many women experience this and it's very common, it doesn't make it any less painful. Hugs to you!
I can't help you with telling you when exactly the bleeding will start. I had a chemical a couple of months ago and I didn't realise it until I bled.

Not long at all, but definitely relax. Within 48 hours of the negative test I had my period, never got very strong though.

It’s awful, so I hope you’re ok and allow yourself time to recover but it’s a positive that sperm is meeting egg.

@catinthehat12 @Bundaberg84 Thankyou both so much for replying, it's definitely eased my worries.
Did either of you have symptoms, and did they stay until AF showed?
I'm worried that my symptoms have started heightening in the past couple of hours, but so have more frequent cramps.

I can't really say, as I mentioned I ony realised what's going on when I started bleeding. So I haven't noticed anything unusual really. But probably I would have if I tested beforehand.
