Hey all. Im new to Mn. Hope you don't mind me joining.

I was hoping you lovely ladies could shed some light please.
I had a chemical pregnancy 29days ago, at 6 days late. Now i expected my period to be due between Thursday and Sunday but instead all i have gotten is some very light brown spotting which started Saturday night. I had some redish/brown mucus once when i wiped yesterday then it went back to brown spotting.

Im pretty sure im not pregnant as i took a test friday and it was negative plus i have zero symptoms. I just don't know where i stand and currently wishing my period would come so we can start a new month!

Anywho, sorry for the essay. Hope you're all well :) and TIA.

I had a chemical 3 cycles ago and honestly my period is still not back to normal. It’s very annoying but I just got a tentative very faint BFP this morning so you can still track ovulation even if your period is all over the place!

Hi @MrsCtobe91 - first of all sorry for your chemical. I had one in February, and it took two cycles until it went back to normal. I actually took a break from TTC last month, and it helped a lot. I feel like I'm in control of my body again, if that makes sense. My period was right on time.
Do you track your ovulation?
@DoodleLovin congratulations hun! Exciting!

MrsCtobe91 · 17/05/2021 11:27

Hi @DoodleLovin sorry to hear you also had one too. Our bodies know how to make us suffer at times. How exciting that you have your BFP, Congratulations. Thabk you for the reassurance, I will keep an eye on whats going on down there for sure.

@Bundaberg84 sorry to hear you also had one. They seem to be such a common thing. Glad your cycle went back to normal. I guess it's just a waiting game to see what happens. Oh it definitely makes sense. I felt the same until the chemical. Now i just don't know. No we are just going with the flow, although my fitbit app tells me when im possibly ovulating. We weren't really ttc when i got pregnant last month, we just weren't being very careful that month but since we found out and had an mc it made us really want to try but be relaxed about it if you know what i mean.

Hopefully my cycle sorts its self out soon.

I know what you mean. I'm trying to take it as relaxed as possible, but at the same time I'm glad I started tracking my ovulation as I know now even if I had an irregular cycle when to expect AF without being nervous all the time (am I late already?). I also know a lot more of my body now. Maybe something to look into for your next cycle.

MrsCtobe91 · 18/05/2021 13:09

@Bundaberg84 yeh it is like a relief knowing when you're due on. My periods are slightly irregular but i usually know when im due on. I think that must be from years of tracking though. You can relax a little more now you know your body more. Well af finally turned up properly yesterday evening so i can relax a little more too and just enjoy the next month, well try haha. Thank you for your reassurance :)

I was tracking for years as well. But apps just calculate 14 days backwards from your 1st day of the cycle, since the majority of woman have a 14 day luteal phase. But some have a shorter or longer one, so they actually miss their ovulation date.
For me, it was 14 days, so all my apps were correct. Could be the same for you of course :)
