6 months off pill 7 days late

So I'm at the 6 month post pill mark & I'm currently 7 days late.. straight after the pill I jumped into regular 3 day periods every month and my cycles have been in the "normal" range and have never gone over 35 days so it's very strange for me to be late & currently on cycle day 42.. I've taken a pregnancy test today it was negative, it wasn't my first wee of the day but given I'm a week late I thought it would show if I was pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm just wondering if anyone else has either 1) started having problems post pill AFTER 6 months or 2) got a load of negatives for weeks but was actually pregnant?

I have no advice but also 6 months off the pill but only 2 days late at the minute although I'm spotting. I did a test yesterday and it was negative. Spotting is light pink and only there when I wipe whereas if it was my period I'd be full flow heavy by now so this is super strange for me. Like you my body adjusted quickly and have regular 3 days periods every 28 days. No idea what's going on!! Lower back ache too which is quite painful and would indicate I'm on but I'm not.....

Afraid I can't speak from personal experience. A friend of mine though came off the pill and then was quite regular for a few months and then had a few up and down months before it regulated again. Not sure how common that is though!!

@Finalbaby3 oh are you?! I've had no spotting, I've had that back ache, cramping here and there & sore boobs.. just have no idea what's happening 😩😂

@KayL1988 thank you 🥺 maybe I'm just having a bit of a wobble but it just seems strange as I've been okay and 6 months is where it's supposed to be balanced out 😂

Totally understandable - how are you in your self? I've noticed my period shift sometimes when I'm quite stressed or tired x

@KayL1988 I'm okay yeah I've not been stressed, have been tired but I put that down to working 6am-2pm haha 😅 x

Oh god yeah I'd be knackered too. I love my sleep!!
