Clear blue digital OPK - low to peak?!

Hi

Bit confused, been using the clear blue digital ovulation test, I started testing using my FMU on cycle day 14 and got low fertility every morning up until this morning I got peak fertility? No flashing smiley no nothing, I had some ovulation pains last night but I'm so confused & worried it is a false positive! DTD anyway and will do it daily for a while incase but don't want to get my hopes up!! No Ewcm but kind of sore boobs.. weird ?

Does this fit with when you usually ovulate? I wouldn’t be worried I find the flashing smileys a bit pointless

I ovulated on cd22 last cycle and I'm on cd18 today so wouldn't be too far off tbh! It was more the fact that I didn't get a flashing at all so just been using my FMU and then got my peak fertility in the morning

Last cycle was 35 days and I'm on cycle day 18 today so not too far off, just nervous it's a false positive

Took a easy @ home cheapie OPK and it's negative? Why would it show peak on clear blue and not the strips 😣

I'm the opposite, I'm on day 10 of flashing smiley face now!!! CD21 😢 I won't be using these clearblues again... I used them back in feb and got pregnant straight away, sadly ended in chemical.
Clearly I have a damaged batch 🤷🏼‍♀️

@mrsgtobe97 this is normal and happened to me on a couple of cycles.

@monkeyy97 it’s not necessarily a bad batch. I got my static smiley today after 10 days of flashing smiley and I’ve had roughly the same for the past 4 months. I clearly just ovulate a lot later than ‘standard’

@mrsgtobe97 I have literally just posted in another thread and then found this post! I'm having a similar issue - OPK is and clear blue is showing peak. I've no idea what to record in the apps... if clear blue is correct does that mean I might as well stop using OPK? And spend a small fortune testing using clear blue from now on or is clear blue actually wrong?

I wish I had the answer cos I'm asking the same questions to myself!! Ahah we are going to keep DTD anyway incase so even if it is a false peak then we will still catch it. I'm hoping clear blue is right 🤞🏼🤞🏼 my OPK today wasn't positive either but have started getting EWCM so maybe the clear blue is just on the ball 🤣🤣

@mrsgtobe97 I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm hoping clear blue is just more accurate because it picks up more than just LH. Definitely sticking by clear blue and getting down to it when OH is home. Sending you lots of good vibes!

@newtolineofduty hopefully you'll like them! I'm feeling quite positive about these ones - it's just confusing when you've used multiple types. If I find I have to keep using these then I might just splash out on the monitor! Sending you lots of good luck!! Xxx

I started using this month both Clear Blue Digital and Ova sticks just to see what they will show. As CB weirdly showed very early ovulation last month and all ovulation symptoms I had were much later in the cycle. So thought I’ll check this time on both different type sticks.

Just to update, it was a false peak, I got my proper peak today on cycle day 24! 🥳
