15 dpo BFN and no period

Hey ladies, so I’ve just taken a frer pregnancy test at 15dpo and still BFN. AF is 5 days late now. I ovulated a bit late in the cycle this time so I’m not sure if that has confused things. We did sadly suffer an ectopic pregnancy in January, resulting in the loss of my left fallopian tube and I’m terrified the same thing will happen again. I’ve got a docs appointment for later today so will hold on to some hope until he tells me otherwise. Just wondered if anyone else is going through the same wait, or has any advice. Thanks so much x

Just a thought; do you know how long your luteal phase is normally? That phase should be the same length each cycle. It's usually around 14 days. So if you ovulated late, you're probably not that late. Unless you have a very short luteal phase of course.
I can just say that mine is exactly the same length, regardless of the first phase.

Bit random but have you recently had a covid jab by any chance? Some people have reported early or late periods with it on the first period after the jab.

Since the ectopic I’ve had regular 28 day cycles and luteal phase has been 14 days. I’m not sure what happened this cycle though. Ovulation didn’t happen until CD19. My cycles were previously always 30 days, which would make AF 5 days late now. I feel like it’s been all over the place this time and don’t understand what is happening inside my body! I guess I’ll hold out for the blood results to find out. Thank you

I had one really random irregular cycle, never made sense to me. The other times were when I had to take antibiotics, were really stressed out about something or were sick when I should have ovulated. I hope you'll find out soon
