Posted a few days ago as cramping and temp drop at 9dpo. Thought I was out this month but the crampings been happening 2 days now. Thought I'd take a 25miu test as I needed to to confirm my theory but a line came up and disappeared. I took a 10miu with the same sample and got a vvvvf line straight away and it's still there 20 minutes later. No idea if it will show up on here but please tell me I've not gone mad? It was very dilute as I've been drinking way more than usual today so will test in the morning or tonight.

@dinosaursgorawrrr so what does that mean? Is it definitely bad news? Could it just be that it was too small to see on the scan and actually it could just be hiding in your uterus and turn out ok? What is the path ahead?

It's still bad news but looks like it won't resolve itself :( If I was going down it would be classed as a m/c but as the numbers are going up it looks like some form of treatment will be needed. I have repeat bloods tomorrow and will know more then.

Still extremely low for 6 weeks but theyre doubling. Bleeding stopped 2 days ago and its now just creamy white discharge constantly. Crampings pretty bad still though but as its on and off they're not worried.
Rescan booked for Saturday by which point I will be 7 weeks exactly (8 going by LMP). I've got open access to the ward but she said they can't do anything until hcg is over a certain level which seems silly when they admit they should have been able to see something even 5 weeks 5 days with a tv/us. Not even thickening but they seem certain I got my dates wrong when I know I haven't. If hcg is going up 100% every 24 hrs then I'm unlikely to MC naturally and this is making rupture far more likely 😢

I'm getting there I think 😔 The waitings (possibly literally) killing me as I keep getting niggly pains but no idea if they're normal or not. I've been keeping a eye on my blood pressure as I guess that will be the first sign of anything rupturing. If it is ectopic then I think it's my right side as that's where all the pain has been for days 😩. Tomorrow I get to find out what's going to happen as they said if it's not where it should be or they just can't find it then they will do surgery tomorrow when I should be 8 weeks by NHS dating or 7 weeks by ovulation tracking. I don't feel pregnant, nausea pretty much stopped, boobs aren't particularly painful it's just the cramping and discharge that remind me that I am. No bleeding atall for 1 weeks now so I guess that's reassuring but I'm scared. I haven't told my family or my partners family, just 2 friends. No idea how I'm going to explain surgery to them when they think I'm just going for a blood test.

On a funnier note my boobs have grown nearly 3 inches and I can't fit in my wedding dress.. I get married in 3 weeks 🙈

They stopped testing once they saw they doubled :( they expect them to be around 2000 by tomorrow if it kept doubling the way it was.

So they'd definitely be able to locate it on a scan

Sorry to ask but is there a chance you could be carrying a viable pregnancy because it sounds like you could you still be from the previous posts x

They don't seem to think it's viable as she said they should definitely have seen a sac or thickening by 5+4 but there was nothing and as my first positive was on 12th May I couldn't have been any earlier 😔 I also had a almost normal AF exactly when I'd have expected it and then the brown spotting for around 2 weeks which stopped a week ago. I tracked bbt and it was under coverline more than it was above too so I never thought I'd get this far. HCG was also extremely low considering their first blood test was nearly 2 weeks after my first positive test so no idea why it suddenly started doubling nicely. They're as confused as me as she said that without seeing anything on the scan it was likely I'd had a MC but then my HCG kept going up. By NHS dates I'm 8 weeks tomorrow but I'm 7 weeks going by ovulation. Ive been told to be prepared for tomorrow so I don't think they're optimistic but their protocol is that if the numbers go up normally they wait and scan again with open ward access incase anything happens.
I've gone from being told there's nothing on the scan so must be MC or ectopic to a phonecall saying 'the numbers are doubling so we will check again when we expect them to be high enough to see something - but it probably isn't viable with numbers so low so be prepared it may still not be good news'.

All I can hope for is that it's in the right place and I can let nature take its course but I keep getting mixed messages. I will update tomorrow when I've had the scan but I'm not optimistic atall even though part of me wants it to all be okay.

Hope you're ok OP! I'm surprised they've left you so long as your HCG levels are rising rapidly!! What the next plan? Worried about you as they're giving you such conflicted info!
I was treated with methotrexate in Jan, is that no longer an option for you?

Did they do an internal scan?

Good luck today OP. My friend had a very similar story to you and when she went for the final confirmation scan they found a baby with a heartbeat don't want to get your hopes up but sometimes it happens. We're all different and not eveyone has a textboox first trimester.

I found their protocol online last night (around 2am 😳) and it says if numbers are rising to arange another scan in 7-14 days which seems risky when they said it was probably still ectopic but they won't be able to find it until hcg is over 1500. On my way to hospital now 😔

My friend had an eptopic pregnancy a couple years ago and she has a one year old beautiful girl now. It's not the end for you. Look after yourself lovely ♥️
