I've just been reading this and am a bit worried, we're ttc and bitey insects think I'm some kind of walking buffet!

As it’s a story from the express I wouldn’t be worried at all 😐

Pinkywoo · 12/05/2021 07:42

Well that's helpful, thanks

The express are well known for scaremongering and printing stuff that isn’t true of exaggerated. I don’t see the BBC reporting this story or anywhere else so why would you think it’s a issue?

The express are often reporting exaggerations on covid and more often ‘the weather’ telling us we are going to under 50ft of snow or we are going to be washed away by freak storms, do any of these things actually happen? No.

Seriously....stop reading stories that are not true.

Regardless of the above comment about whether or not you should believe what the express says, what are you going to do if someone tells you that you should be worried? Unless you would actually stop TTC then I’m not sure if there is any point in getting worried about this. It’s probably another unnecessary anxiety to add to the TTC mix. Given we have never had a Zia outbreak in Europe it seems very unlikely. Good luck with your TTC journey x

No I wouldn't stop ttc, I'd just follow the advice and keep the windows shut, and thanks for the luck I'm going to need it!

More good news!

Take garlic capsules and vitamin b6. Makes a big difference to me so that bitey insects don't eat me quite as much!!
