Waiting for AF to arrive, driving me insane!

Hi ladies

I’m 1 day late, been trying for a few months now. This month I used ovulation tests to try and figure out when I actually ovulate, thought I already knew but it turns out I didn’t. So this month we definitely did it around the right time.

I’m never late, and I have different symptoms I’m sure! No hot sweats which I always get, and so so emotional, usually just a bit irritable...

I have done a pregnancy test and it was bfn. But it’s still early.

I have been having dull period type cramps for about 10days leading upto period which is also a bit longer than usual. Now i have really sharp pain going down one side of what feels like womb area... again a bit different to usual.

I’m going mad constantly symptom checking/spotting.

I would love to hear your experiences or is there anyone in the same boat now...

Hi @cats4life4 I’m 2 days late here. Been ttc for over a year... stupidly thought this was our month but had spotting and bfn yesterday morning. So just waiting for AF now - absolutely sucks but nothing I can do about it 🙁.
Do you temp? Sometimes that gives you more of a clue if you are still in with a chance or not. Best of luck to you !

Sorry to hear that you feel it’s now not your month due to the spotting....

We have been ttc for about 5 months, it’s so disappointing isn’t it because every month you think right it’s gona happen! And the waiting is just a killer!

I don’t temp, what is that? Excuse my ignorance! I definitely feel like im coming on and I’ve got bfn.

😕 you’re right the wait is so hard, I feel it takes up so much headspace that when it’s not the outcome we wanted it hits even harder...
sorry you feel like AF coming too I’m in exactly same boat - just want it over and done with now.
Temping is where you take your temperature every morning at the same time before you get out of bed - throughout your cycle your temperature will give an indication of when you are ovulating/have ovulated and if you are in with a chance of BFP. E,g. If temps stay high is usually sign of BFP but if it dips usually means AF coming (mine has dipped today 🙁).
Take a look at fertility friend app - that’s what a lot of us on here use.
