Unsure if there is a chance I'm pregnant

Apologies if this isn't the right place to be posting this. I Was just hoping to get a bit of advice.
I started my period at a pretty normal time last month. Everything was fairly normal apart from it lasted a few days longer than usual.
I randomly decided to test. This was cycle day 6 and looked like a faint but obvious positive.
It showed up straight away and shocked me as at that point I was experiencing no symptoms.
I am now experiencing extreme fatigue and nausea but I haven't got a positive test since.
Unsure if there is a chance I am pregnant but it is too low for hcg to show in test or whether I had a false positive.

Really grateful for any advice or thoughts on what May have happened :)

It could possibly be a chemical. You would expect a very clear positive by this point if you were pregnant. Could you post a picture of your test? Sorry this must be a stressful and confusing time not knowing what is going on. X

@Hopefulhedgehog thank you for your message. As im a new user it won't let me post images. It was a pink dye test which I usually trust to not get any dodgy Evap lines or anything from.
Maybe it was a chemical then. It was a bit random for me to test when I did. I guess if I hadn't I would never have known. Thank you for being so understanding that's it's confusing x
