CD15 - First Flashing Smiley

First cycle TTC DC2. Got my first flashing smiley this morning on CD15 (average 33 day cycle). Got my BFP first month of using Clearblue digital OPKs last time so feeling hopeful and excited!

Anyone else coming up for their fertile week and want to keep each other company?

@monkeyy97 😤 your body must be gearing up! Maybe your going to drop a super egg 😂 you'll be pregnant with quads before the end of the month 🙈 lol.

@tierneytarny like @monkeyy97 you could be getting flashing smilies for a while yet. Flashing smilies don't always mean ovulation is imminent. You have a fairly short cycle so it doesn't seem too early to me x

@monkeyy97 please tell me you've had your static now?!?!? 🤞🏼 I'm 5/6dpo today and POAS yesterday and today 🙈😂 knew it wouldn't pick anything up but couldn't help myself now I have my cheapies lol x

Nope!! 🤣🤣 day 10 of flashing 🤣 think I'm going to stop now and just carry on dtd every other day until AF is due 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got my static today (so CD10). DTD Friday and today (going to try again tonight too). I hope this works. I’m already losing my marbles with it! 🙈

Think it's going to be tomorrow or the next day! This is the darkest one my cheapies has ever been... typically that's my last cheap one 😢 fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I'm obviously just having a completely off month and ovulating super late 🤣

Your plan to just continue DTD until BFP or AF sounds like a good one though 👍🏼

Weirdly, I didn't get a strong second line on IC or CB OPKs this month, despite the CB detecting my high and peak days 🤔

I've had EWCM on and off since my peak so not sure what's going on 🙈 my peak also came 2 days earlier than usual this month on CD17 instead of CD19. I got my first static at 3.42am on CD17 (last Monday) so guessing I ovulated later that day or the following day, making me 6/7dpo today.

We haven't DTD much at all this month due to DH being unwell and DS not sleeping great over the past 2 weeks so I'm not holding my breath but can't help but cling onto the fact that it only takes one time and we DTD (what I think was) the day before O 🤞🏼 x

@monkeyy97 I'll be testing about 3 times daily with ICs from now onwards 🙈 will leave my FRER until Friday I think as I'll be 10/11dpo by then 🤞🏼 x

Would you count 1dpo from tomorrow do you think? I always get confused with that part

I always count the second day of static as ovulation day and the day after as 1dpo. Apparently the first static day is when it detects your LH surge and you ovulate 12-36 hours later x

It’s been a while since I used CB OPKs so now I’ve had my static, I don’t test anymore? I know the static stays for 48 hours (after assuming it was broken and wasting a test 🙈) but do I pick it up again after the 58 hour period or just leave it?

@tierneytarny I tend to keep testing with cheapies for a few days after I've had my static (I feel a pee is wasted if it's not been dipped with a stick) 🙈😂 x

I got a positive OPK this morning - at 9dpo 🤔 it's the strongest line I've had all month!

Did a HPT (IC) and it was a BFN. Will try again tomorrow with a FRER 🤞🏼

I'm 3DPO today.. had some cramping yesterday but obviously far to early to have any symptoms 🤣 my first symptoms last time was horrendous acne on my chin... and the fact that the smell of chicken nuggets made me want to throw up 🤣

I have woken up today with massive spots on my chin, could be hormones... who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

@monkeyy97 eeeeeegh, I remember the superhuman sense of smell 🤢 I made DH eat in another room as the smell of hot food made me boak 😂

I've just done another OPK and it's even darker 🤯 hoping it translates into a second line on my FRER in the morning 🤞🏼
