Any positive pregnancy bleeding with clots stories?

Hi ladies. I got my (faint) BFP on Sunday, today is 12DPO and I think it's a pretty decent line. However, I've had blood when I wipe after using the loo... Usually after a bowel movement. First one was Sunday night, bright red, no clots. Nothing for 24hrs. Then yesterday night, brown with stringy bit. Then this morning browny red with a dark red clot. And just now brown with stringy bits. Did a test an hour ago, still have a good line (photo attached is from this afternoon).

Anyone have anything similar? How did it work out??

This looks positive to me. It sounds as though you’re having some spotting which can be really normal.

At the point I got a positive pregnancy test I was bleeding and continued to bleed on and off till about 13 weeks. Baby is now 11 months!

@IDontLikeMondays88 that is so good to hear that I might actually cry! So reassuring! Did you get any small clots or stringy bits too?

I think so, yes.

I did get a couple of early scans because of - you should phone you gp maybe?

Although I think you need to be 6 or 7 weeks before they will be able to see anything on a scan.

@IDontLikeMondays88 because I had some pelvic pains a few weeks ago they've referred me to the EPU for a scan to check it isn't ectopic (don't think it is as the dates just wouldn't match!). Appointment is at 9am tomorrow but I don't think they'll be able to tell anything with a scan this early!

Also I remember the midwife saying brown blood is good ie suggests there’s been some bleeding but the blood is old and so the issue is resolving.

Hopefully they might be able to see something on the scan
