OHSS with oral Clomid?

Hi, wondering if anyone has experience?

TTC with PCOS and on my latest scan the results were 'ovaries enlarged and polycystic.' I was reading that this can be a risk factor for OHSS.

But I'm due to start Clomid as I was told there's no risk or a very low risk when only using a small dose of oral medication. (50g)

Has anyone had PCOS and Clomid and been fine/successful?

Thanks!

I also have enlarged polycystic ovaries and have been on clomid and letrozole at max dose without OHSS. I did have too many follicles at a couple of points to continue the cycle so had to abandon due to risk of multiple pregnancy but I wasn't unwell at any point with OHSS. It usually happens with IVF drugs that are more potent and where you are trying to get more than 1-2 follicles.

I conceived twice on clomid. Once resulted in early miscarriage and the other my Son. Currently ttc baby no2 using letrozole. No success but have 2 more cycles to try.

thanks @YouBoggleMyMind ! That's what I was told re oral vs IVF drugs but after looking up OHSS and seeing I met the risk factors it was a scary thought! Did you have any side effects/did they say if it was a risk of high multiples or just more than one?

I took clomid at night to lessen any side effects. Mainly hot flushes for me and a bit grumpy.

A couple of times I had multiple dominant follicles on each ovary so they told me not to have sex but both times we tried as we accepted the risk but neither times I got pregnant.
