Hi all, thanks for all the welcome messages Sorry I've not been posting, had friends staying who've just gone today so not had much opportunity.

Well, since my first post last Wed, FF thinks I ov'd on Tues 2nd. Apart from slight upward trend of BBT & sore nips my other fertility signs (CM, CP & saliva microscope) haven't really tied in so it's hard to be certain. So if I'm really 5DPO all will be revealed in a couple of weeks. That will make my cycle length ~70 days!!! I hope my next cycle will be a lot shorter than this one.

Ernest, thanks for sharing your experience with Mirena coil. It may well be that I am experiencing the same effects as you. Mirena's also hormone based, isn't it? Will wait to see what next cycle does & then maybe I could try Persona too. Hopefully my cycle will start to sort itself out soon.

I've been having a lot of backache & pains in my lower tummy b4 I ov'd (blxxdy endo) so have appointment to see my gynae tomorrow to get checked coz I haven't see him in a couple of years & was wondering if my endo was making cycles haywire coz it's happened to me b4. Ended up having a lap to have chocolate cysts removed ~ 4yrs ago. Cycle was 28 days after lap but went back on the pill after a couple of months. Been getting a lot of aches & pains so will see if gynae sees anything major going on on ultrasound. Everyone, fingers crossed for me that everything will be ok

blossomhill · 07/11/2004 17:49

Please tell me what BFP means. I can't work it out. I know it's something, something test. Thanks

Hulababy · 07/11/2004 17:51

HI

CD6; AF gone now. So the cycle starts again.

Have to say that today and yesterday I have been shattered, and so nauseous. But AF was definitely an AF IYSWIM. Oh well. Maybe next month

ZolaPola · 07/11/2004 17:51

Big Fat Positive (of preg test)

SHELY · 07/11/2004 20:50

thanks munzzieb, iam going to consult another doctor, and see if this is the right course of action, iam on cd26 now, so i better find out fast about the clomid, i don't want my chances to go down instead of up ya know? i think my problem is the lack of cervical mucus, and i hear clomid dries it up even more so. i can understand the iui insemination part, cause if mucus is the problem, that would bypass the need for it completely, it's the clomid iam questioning. boy, my guy is gonna have an awful lot of bills coming his way this month. every visit i have is $400 just to see the doctor and i have gone 3 times this month, and this testing is going to cost a fortune to, so i hope this guy is doing right by me, and not just trying to empty our wallets. we shall see. i will w/b soon and let you know what happens. i want to get pregnant so badly, but iam totally petrified about having quintuplets or something ya know!! i hope af doesn't come at all, but i could never get that lucky hope things are well with you, and all of you out there today!! baby dust to all!!!!

Tania2 · 07/11/2004 20:52

monday?? oh yeah, sorry i'm not with it today.

yingers74 · 07/11/2004 21:08

Don't post very regularly on this thread, but was wondering if anyone is as bad as me when it comes to pregnancy test. Even though i know it is too early and that i should just wait to see what happens with AF, I still do it. This month, I have used 2 tests, even though AF not expected till Tuesday. One last Thursday and one this morning, I realise it is a huge waste of money but cannot help it! the worse thing is that when it comes back as negative I feel down and yet hopeful which leads to the likelyhood of wasting another test a day or two later!!!!

MunnzieB · 07/11/2004 21:11

lol, yes don't worry I do that as well! have been known to do it about a week b4 AF, knowing full well it would be BFN but in my defense my dates were a week out and I actually though i was late.

yingers74 · 07/11/2004 21:19

Glad it is not just me, now where is that other pregnancy test...............no just joking am going to try really hard to wait 3 days!

MunnzieB · 07/11/2004 22:31

lol, it will be worth the wait!

Twiga · 07/11/2004 22:45

Tania2 · 08/11/2004 04:25

Hi girls i know you are all sleeping but i have to shed some tears so to speak.
I am a blubbering mess atm iam crying at a drop of a hat i have just been crying over the fact that we have a friends wedding this w/end and my inlaws have said no to babysitting cause its FIL birthday on the friday and MIL & FIL want to go out for dinner. so when dh told me i unrationally carry on about it start crying and yelling how could they be so selfish they can go out on sunday night (we are all going there on friday).
DH keeps telling me i am pg cause i am so hormonaly sad and that is making cry even more cause i know af will show her ugly head again in 7 or so days. i just want to cry cry cry and be on my own (which is hard with a 2yr old) even worse still dh and i have decided that tonight is the night we are going to start getting ds to sleep a full night in his cot instead of coming into bed with us at 1:30am. we have to do it noone is getting any sleep now anyway.

Hulababy · 08/11/2004 08:38

I have my fingers crossed for you

We did CC with our DD, aged 20 months last Christmas. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. First night she complained for about 20 minutes, next night less. By days 4 she was sleeping through on her own really well.
