How do people deal with the heartbreak of home insemination not working?

Using a private sperm donor is scary, dangerous and completely un-regulated! My question is why is it so difficult for people in the LGBTQ+ community to have a baby, why must it be so dangerous? 😬😬

It doesn’t have to be dangerous. You don’t have to use a private sperm donor. You can use donor sperm at a licensed fertility clinic when you know the donor has been screened and checked.

it doesn't have to be? we went to the clinic and it was a simple, legally secure process.
