Covid vaccine and fertility treatment

Hello everyone,

I am shortly about to commence IVF (May or June TBC) and I have been trying to decide whether to have the vaccine or not before it starts. I've been called for the vaccine today. I asked my consultant at the LWC and she said I can go ahead and have it. This appears to be the "official" advice at the moment. However, other people I know undergoing fertility treatment have been advised not to have it, despite the official advice. This makes things very confusing for me.

Anyone else in the same predicament?

I had mine a month ago. Fertility clinic told me to go ahead. I haven't started treatment yet but am still TTC naturally.

Hi I’m in exactly the same position!! Did you decide what to do?

I spoke to my GP and he referred me to my local hospital for the Pfizer vaccine so I've had the first dose.

I had my first dose and was due to have the 2nd jab when my cycle started early. My ivf clinic said it was absolutely fine to have it but said it may be difficult to distinguish what was the cause if I had a temperature, the ivf drugs or vaccine. I am now having the 2nd jab in 2weeks.
