After 10 years of secondary infertility and IVF, I’m pregnant.

I can’t believe but, and I’m not getting my hopes up, but here I am. My older DC is almost 10, failed IVF - I am pregnant. I can’t believe it.

Both my grandmothers had huge age gaps between DC, so wondering now if there’s more to it?

I am equally as shocked at my pregnancy - 10 years of infertility, was severe male factor with no chance of conceiving, 2x IVF babies during that time, and then completely, totally out of the blue missed a period in January... Now nearly 16wks. Also haven't told many people at all, partly because I'm in denial and can't believe this is really happening.

My advice is that your head may be scrambled over the coming weeks - although I'm amazed at our miracle life, hormones, fear, sickness and severe shock have combined to make the past few months pretty rough. You'll get through it.
