How do you know you have a chemical pregnancy?

Ladies,
I read many of you mention you had one or a couple of chemical pregnancies. (And I am sorry for that)
I am asking for help because I am trying to understand if this is what I am having.
I am either 11 or 12 dpo today. Yesterday I tested and got a super faint line on easy @ home stick. It was so faint that I could not capture it on my phone. Only way I was able to show it in a picture was by editing the photo and bringing out the details more. Then you could see a line. Today, I tested again and I am seeing the same line and cannot capture it on my phone.
I am worried that the line is way too light to be a healthy pregnancy. So it makes me wonder if what I have is chemical pregnancy as I read one of the signs is a very low HCG levels.
I want to get excited so badly but there was no difference in line strength from yesterday till today.
I will attach the two photos. Edited one is from yesterday and not edited one is from today.
Please help me with advise. :(

With a chemical, your lines will either fade quickly or not get stronger and fade.

It’s too soon to tell from your photos, I’m sorry. Give it a couple of days and try again.

VixFromThe6ix · 22/04/2021 15:38

@LividJabber thanks for your response. I know I'm jumping the gun but I wanna be ready if this is what it is. It's just so hard. Every positive I had ended up being a mc so I'm overthinking as usual.

I edited another photo including two tests I did today where it shows the line yet with my phone you can't see it... 🤦🏼‍♀️

I had a chemical in January 2019. I had several positive tests from 9dpo but then my period came. I took a test after I’d stopped bleeding and it was negative again.

You’re still very early at 11/12dpo and lines on a test aren’t clear indicators of your HCG levels.

I hope this is the beginning of your BFP.

VixFromThe6ix · 22/04/2021 15:41

@BeingATwatItsABingThing oh I am praying this is my rainbow baby... I just see such strong lines others are posting for 11-12dpo and mine are almost non existent.
My heart is in my stomach all day

HCG doubles every 48-72 hours so test again in a couple of days. Also, try with a FRER or CB with weeks indicator.

VixFromThe6ix · 22/04/2021 16:02

@BeingATwatItsABingThing I have one left at home which I was saving for when the line was a bit darker... I'll use it in couple of days.
Wouldn't it be positive if this is a cp?

Today’s is very similar btw, so I’m going to do another tomorrow as like a previous poster has said it can take 48-72 hours x

AntiHop · 22/04/2021 16:16

I had a positive test the day my period was due, and the next day. I stopped testing. A week later, I started bleeding. Then got negative tests.

If you're not bleeding, I'd try and hold off doing more tests for now.

I got pregnant again really quickly. I hope things work out for you. Flowers

VixFromThe6ix · 22/04/2021 16:23

@Rubi87 congrats!!!! The fact that you can see your lines without having to edit the photo is way better than what I'm having...
I can see a veryyyyyyy faint line irl but not when I take the photo. Only way you could see it on the photo is of you edit the photo's detail strength.
That's why I am worried.... I feel like it should have been darker.

It's normally where you'd get a bfp but then your period comes around the time it would be due, with mine my periods come maybe the day after I've had a positive test, they're just very early miscarriages really xx

VixFromThe6ix · 22/04/2021 16:26

@AntiHop I am on progesterone so my period won't come till I stop taking it and I have to stop taking it if I get a negative test at 14 days past ovulation.
That gives me two days to either get a positive and continue progesterone for additional 6 weeks or stop taking it and wait for my period.
We're your lines strong when you did test positive?? Why did you stop testing if you were positive? Did you suspect something or did you just think you were positive and there was no need to test anymore?

VixFromThe6ix · 22/04/2021 16:29

@sarahc336 my period ain't due till about a week... I have a very long luteal phase because I ovulated early this cycle - 10 days after my period started. I guess I can test in couple days to see if the line gets any darker...... 🤞😟🤢

I think the lines were fairly faint, which I would expect so early on. I stopped testing as I was confident I was pregnant. There was no need to think they were evap lines.

@antihop oh ok, thanks for responding. How soon after did you get pregnant again?

OP posts:
Rubi87 · 22/04/2021 16:37

The day before, so I think 10 dpo it was so so light I had the same issue that I could barely see it, see what tomorrow brings maybe. I’m keeping everything crossed for you xx

VixFromThe6ix · 22/04/2021 16:39

@Rubi87 thank you, yes please cross your fingers for me 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Hi everyone, sorry to jump on here like that. But i have a quick question last week i had several positive pregnancy test including cp digital 2 of them 1-2wks pregnant, then the tests went lighter. So i assume was a chemical pregnancy. But this has been more than a week ago stil not bleeding but instead ovulating.. is this possible and can we try again? Since there was no bleeding at all.
