We are ttc and was feeling hopeful but my period came early at 10 dpo
I'm just trying to work out if I should try my dr would feel very stupid if I called and they said....yes it's a period lol

I've never really had bad periods barely notice them light bleeding no pain. I'm 14 months pp and breastfeeding If that makes a difference as be this I think is my first proper period (had a super light one last month at 7dpo

Yesterday I had neck pain and a full headache on and off (back at work on computers so didn't think much of it)

Today I've got gradually worse
Really bad headache almost migraine like behind my ears and around my hair line
Aches in my ears coming and going and quite sharp and a bit of ringing
Bad backache almost had to breathe through some of it
Been to the toilet several times today (really not pretty)
Been feeling cold abd now I'm at home shivering but don't feel overly cold just like there's a cold breeze
Nauseous

I know you can't diagnose but just wondering it's I'm going to look like a baby if I call the dr

I wouldn’t say a lot of those symptoms are period related so you may have picked something up.
Have you checked your temperature?

@firsttimemummy321 so I had a similar thing when my periods returned, the first one showed up and was really light.... second one showed up at 5dpo, and quite short (thought maybe implantation) the third one was a blood bath. It was UNREAL! Lasted about 6 days (usually I'm 3-4day) it was heavy, painful. I had all sorts. Migraines can be hormonal, so could be your body readjusting.

The rest of the symptoms sound coincidental with a bug.

Hope you're ok. Maybe call 111 if you're worried. Or put your feet up and get DH to bring you tea and soup! 👍🏻

Get well soon. Xx

I had some of these symptoms with Covid, would be sensible to get tested given your temperature. Hope you feel better soon.

PS you won't look like a baby if you call the doctor. Ringing 111 sounds like a good idea - at least they can assess you over the phone. Thanks
