clear blue advanced digital results vs internet cheapies?

So decided to fork out and buy the clear blue advanced digital for the first time...I followed the instructions and started testing with fmu on CD6 (which was 2 days ago). Got the negative blank circles on Cd6, cd7, and then today cd8 it went straight to peak??
I wasn't really sure whether to believe it, so I used an easy@home IC to compare, which did not have a positive at all - there was a line but it was significantly lighter than the control.
Last month I wasn't ttcing but I used the ICs to get a sense of where my cycle was at and the ICs caught it at around Cd 15/16, and I had lots of ovulation symptoms so pretty sure they were right.
My hormones are still a bit all over the place as I had a stillbirth a bit over 2 months ago, so I know it's possible I might O this early, but with the ICs not showing a high result, and also not getting any flashing high fertility smilies, I'm pretty sure it's a mistake? Has anyone else ever had this with a clearblue advanced? Could it just be picking up a rise in estrogen and not LH? I'm so confused! xx

I have used both (a lot!) and both times I fell pregnant I was only using cheapies. They satisfied my urge to poas multiple times per day!
