Clear blue digital- not pregnant - advice please?

Hi,

I have polycystic ovaries and so am on clomid. I took 100mg this month and on day 21 had a blood test where ovulation was confirmed. My progesterone was 77 and I was told this means it is pretty much 100% likely I ovulated. So on day 28 (yesterday) I took a clear blue digital test which came back as 'not pregnant'. I'm now on day 29 and still no period and absolutely no signs of a period coming.... in fact without trying to give TMI I am still getting discharge and I thought you dry up before a period? I guess what I'm asking is if there's still a chance? I feel like I'm being silly as I did a test and it said 'not pregnant' so that must be it?

Hey! Clear blue digital tests aren't very sensitive. Do you have a normal test you could use to see if there's a faint second line?

Hi, thank you so much for replying. I don't, but tempted to maybe get one if I have nothing by Sunday.... I rang the fertility clinic and they said 77 means I definitely ovulated so should bleed... I figure I ovulated no later than day 16 (I think as I had pains then) so at minimum I reckon I'm 13dpo today and would have been 12dpo yesterday.... I think I haven't gone out and got a standard test as every time I see a BFN it's so disheartening..... I also feel like I'm being delusional where it said not pregnant.... maybe as you've said it was too early for the digital.

I'd definitely say try another test. I've got pcos too and I had a negative clear blue test then a positive one a few days later but standard test was so dark. I know it's disheartening seeing nothing but you never know! Good luck x

I don't rate the digital tests if you're trying to test early. I'd just get a cheapy one & try again. In regards to the discharge, I don't dry up before a period, if anything it gets worse. Fingers crossed for you.

You need a pink dye test like a first response or even the cheap online strip tests. I got a very faint line about 5 days before I was due my period with those. I didn't get a positive on a clear blue until about 2 days after AF was due and the clear blue digital didn't work until 4/5 days after my period was due. They aren't very sensitive at all.

Thank you all so much for replying. I think I just assumed that the clear blue digital would be sensitive enough where they are so expensive! So it sounds as though people have gotten a negative on the day their period has been due on a digital?

I am so anxious to take another test, I think because I've maybe let myself build up a little
Hope that the digital was wrong and I'm scared of another test saying negative, I may wait and see if a period comes this weekend and if nothing will do a test on Monday which will be day 32 and given I have ovulated that would then be quite late for no period to have appeared.
