Cramps and light spotting on 7DPO, only on wiping (not really sure about OV date, just an estimate)

You could have had late ovulation this cycle and had ovulation spotting? That would tie in with both cramps and spotting and your period now being "late". Ie your 7dpo was actually O

@Juno231 you might be right! I thought about that, but I never had ovulation spotting before, and during my "predicted" OV days I had all the usual signs (tender breasts, cramping). I have basically been cramping for three weeks, although now the discomfort has subsided.
