7 days late for AF and still getting BFN’s

Hello,

I am new here, I am just desperately looking for some advice. We have been TTC for the last few months (baby number 2). This month I could of sworn it was it as I am getting lots of symptoms... sore BB’s, nausea, stuffy nose, fatigue, think jelly like mucus about a week ago (sorry tmi) and my period is a week late!

I am never late and usually have a regular 28-29 day cycle. I’m now CD35! 20dpo (I had a positive OPK so I’m fairly sure on this).

I have been doing tests for what feels like forever and not a single one has shown a faint bfp.

I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this or a similar situation. I have accepted the fact I’m probably not pregnant but my biggest worry is when do I start opk’s again and until af shows am I just on the same cycle?!

TIA

Hello. A group of us had this last cycle, on a thread, and ranged from one week late to three weeks late (I was just under two weeks late) we all ended up getting our periods in the end. Very unusual as normally regular. All hoping to be pregnant 😂 but sadly not. I started my opks after the bleeding stopped when my period did eventually start. It’s horrible to be in limbo like this tho. Good luck

Hi there,

Have you started to take any medication or supplements recently?

I ask because I have also been ttc #2. I had a 26/27 day cycle with a short LP. I was ovulating around day 21 so I started taking vitamin b6 to lengthen my cycle/ LP.

So this month my period didn’t show up on day 26/ 27 and I got neg tests until day 34 when I got my BFP.

I know that Pregnacare ttc can also lengthen cycles as well.

Hope you get to the bottom of it soon.
