For those who got their BFP straight after MC, how did you know it was a new pregnancy and not just hangover hormones??

The tests get darker really quickly - like within 24 hours in my experience so no mistaking a new pregnancy.

And after 5 weeks after MC bleeding stopped you’d think that the hormones should have subsided completely right...?! I’m just wondering whether to book a scan or not!

I didn’t bother testing until at least 5-6 weeks after stopping bleeding and about when I thought a period should be due.

To be fair I felt so shitty and unwell I just thought I had retained products of previous loss.
Turns out I was indeed pregnant. Had a scan to check for retained products and found a live, wriggling baby.

Lovely surprise.

I had 2 MC back to back. After the first one, I initially had a faint line and then a week later retested and no lines at all. When my period didn't arrive the next month (I'd had previous MC's and cycle tended to regulate fairly quickly) I assumed maybe my body was taking longer this time. But, I just knew something wasn't right so done a test which was positive.
So, although I knew for defo because of the tests, it was my gut feeling that made think I could have been pregnant again. You could have knocked me over with a feather!
