Faint line on CB 6 days early test getting darker

I took a clear blue 6 days early test this morning and had a faint line within the time limit... however it has definitely got more blue and darker in the time since (a couple of hours)! I had a chemical in December (and don't know when AF is due as my cycles are still adjusting) so I'm being very cautious and will get a red dye test when shops re-open, but I just wanted to know if anyone has had the same with these tests? The picture is the test now :)

First pic is this morning, the second is from now. The first one wasn't the best lighting I clicked on the wrong one 😬

The second pic is a clear line, but I have heard clear blue are bad for evap lines. I'm the same boat myself. Very faint line after 5 minutes, a clearer blue line after an hour. I'm going to get a first response tomorrow to be sure. Hope you get a clear answer soon.

Thanks for replying! It's so confusing isn't it 😭 I hope you get some answers too, fingers crossed for tomorrow!

How did you get on @keeponjuggling? I've had the exact same today but slightly fainter, I got a couple of FRER's and a digi for tomorrow so hopefully some answers then🤞🏼

Same Endogal, have a FRER to do in the morning. But might not need it, I can feel AF brewing. Good luck, I hope you get an answer too, its frustrating not knowing.

I know they can be bad for evaps but they are usually colourless and while I would wait to get excited until you get a clear line in the time frame I'd be hopeful as I've had many negative of these and never has a line appeared like that (when I wasn't pregnant) so 🤞🏻 do you have an frer you can try?

Thanks for replying @firsttimemummy321! I've never had a line on a clear blue (after or within time limit) either, even when I had my chemical and had positives on cheapies so I'm optimistic but very cautiously so! Even the fainter one today was definitely coloured so hopefully I'll see something on the FRER tomorrow... Just hoping the fainter one today doesn't mean another chemical!

Any luck Endogal?

Endogal · 07/04/2021 09:13

Unfortunately not @keeponjuggling :( no lines yesterday or today, and I'm getting some PMS symptoms so think it is another chemical :( how about you?

keeponjuggling · 07/04/2021 12:32

Oh I'm sorry to hear that @Endogal Sad
I'm more confused than ever, 2 faint FRER, and a clear positive on a supermarket one. But clearblue negative today. Time will tell I guess.

Endogal · 07/04/2021 18:23

Thank you @keeponjuggling, that's positive news for you I think! I've had faint lines on cheapies before then negatives with CB and FRER from the same urine, I wonder if it helps that the lines on cheap ones are thicker than FRER lines? Fingers crossed its just a bit of fluctuation while it implants ☺️

@Endogal I had the exact same when I took a CB on Sunday. It was super faint but like you say hours later was darker. However I had the same with frer although the lines were dark straight away but darker still few hours later. I think this could just putely be that the dye dries a darker colour? (I unfortunately had a chemical this cycle but depending where you are in your cycle there's every chance it could get darker as hcg increases) good luck! Hope it's a sticky bean for you xx
