How long have you used OPKs for?

Hi guys,
I'm on month 4 of OPKs, month 7 TTC. I find OPKs have been kind of helpful. Firstly I have had static smileys every month and my periods are fairly regular.
I'm trying to decide whether to continue with OPKs if next month is not successful. It's stressful because I keep thinking 'how can I NOT be pregnant? We DTD 2 days before static, day of and the next day!' But obviously no pregnancy.

The only month I got pregnant I wasn't even thinking about my cycle (first cycle post implant, miscarriage). You hear so often about people who 'stopped trying' and get pregnant. Is it wasting a cycle doing this?!

I feel like timed sex is not as fun and a couple of times DH has 'felt the pressure' knowing it's fertile week. This month I didn't tell him.

I'm wondering if anyone decided to stop the OPKS/apps/tracking etc. Was it helpful? Did you get pregnant?

I would love to hear your experiences,
Thank you everyone!

I'm on my 3rd cycle of using OPKs. I also track my BBT and have done for 8 cycles. DP does not know I'm using OPKs as wanted to keep it casual 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Even before OPKs we were DTD on most of the right days. I wanted to try them to see if we could improve the timing. I go from low to peak in less than 12 hours. And then from the peak to ovulation is also around 12 hours. I only have EWCM on the day of my peak. So I don't get much warning to DTD. I'm not sure if I'll continue using them after I've used what I've got.
