@dunkedbiscuit oh no, try not to get too down yet, something else might have affected the test. Fingers crossed for you

@Sunshine8888 Just keep testing, when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line, it is a positive result, which means you are likely to ovulate within 24-36 hours after THAT. The app will automatically mark the last and highest reading as peak, and it will tell you the fertile window. BD on your fertile window can increase your odds.

Morning all!
Been a bit quiet lately as not much going on. I'm having a bit of a wobble as DP is being very 'off' and difficult when it comes to DTD. Often just falling asleep, turning his back etc even when I've explained about it being good timing etc. I've really tried not to make it a chore or like a business transaction but obviously something is making him distant. When I've asked him about it he is still saying he wants another baby and he is just tired but I then feel annoyed because I'm the one left with the waiting and tracking and timing and I'm tired too!!
We've only managed to DTD two times this month and I decided not to track as it was stressing me out it now I'm more stressed as I'm thinking it's another month wasted and I don't know what's going on.

Sorry for the massive rant. Just no one/nowhere else to vent this stuff! Wishing you all lots of love and luck xxx

Thanks @Ailie12 I did take another yday and it was even lower! Does that mean I’ve probably ovulated already and in the TWW? Would the levels keep decreasing up to AF?

@DinkyGT that’s so frustrating. I haven’t told my husband I’ve come off the Pill for this reason - I think the pressure can get too much for them. Perhaps don’t even talk about timings or anything like that with him? Could you DTD earlier in the evening or the morning when he’s less tired?

@DinkyGT I know exactly how you feel, we only DTD twice last cycle for pretty much same reasons, he's really up for it when it's not the right time but when it's the right time it doesn't happen I think it's the pressure! My plan is to try not to tell him when it is the right time on my next cycle! He also said that before bed isn't always a good time, but he's defiantly not a morning person and DS is around all day so before bed is really the only option!! I think there is more pressure for them to perform whereas in some ways we can just lie back!!

I have tried to be a bit more casual about it but next month I will just not mention timings at all I think. It's same here with timings for DTD - can't do mornings as I'm up and out before he even wakes up and then in the evening we have DD to contend with 😂 I think we need a date night in the near future maybe.
At the moment as each month passes I just get a little more disheartened with things. I don't feel like we are ever going to get our BFP at the rate we are going and I really don't want to be trying all the way into next year. Xx

@DinkyGT ahh I know, before bed is really only our option too with our daughter around all day. It’s difficult isn’t it!

Just took another opk and got 1 High so looks I maybe need to DTD! This one I’ve taken just now so different time again but just trying to work out best time to take it! My boobs are really hurting - is that a sign of ovulation coming potentially?

@DinkyGT that sounds really frustrating! Can you have a chat with him about it - would he take it on board do you think? I honestly think they are so oblivious to all the timing / tracking / planning we have to do and my DH has been known to have the attitude of 'oh can't we just do tomorrow' 🤦‍♀️

I think AF has finally arrived, I'm actually kind of happy about it, I've had so much spotting etc that I was pretty sure I wasn't pregnant, so at least now I can relax and stop second guessing everything! It's been like it's been on its way in slow motion for the last week! I'll be happy to put this crazy cycle behind me and move onto the next, I just hope it hasn't affected my blood test results to much.

I think sadly this little bean is not meant to be 😞 the lines are getting fainter and fainter (bottom two tests are the most recent) I'm 17 dpo and it's FMU every time so I know this isn't right. I guess I just wait for a bleed now?

Is anyone here any good with OPKs? I’ve got myself in such a muddle! Here are my results for the last 5 days - is it normal for them to be so up and down?!

@Sunshine8888 I'm no expert but i think the time of day, how long you've held your wee for and what you've been drinking can all affect how strong the results are, so I wouldn't worry to much about a bit of variation. It looks like today is the best result but your probably best to just keep DTD until you see it drop significantly, you may not know till afterwards which day was your actual peak.

I only get a couple of days with a half decent line but I think everyone's different.

I'm waiting for AF to finish and then need to wait for ovulation, day 17/18 for me so quite a wait!! My AF was really heavy this time, lots of clots to, so I do wonder if it was a chemical, what do you girls think?

So just chased up drs and receptionist is going to chase up drs. I asked her if she could tell me what they said anyway and she said 15 which doesn’t sound good too me, I think over 30 means ovulation is that right? Receptionist wasn’t exactly sure what she was telling me... hopefully I get some answers soon.

TTC DC #2 we already have a two year old DD

I'm 36 and in the first month of trying properly, not been on contraception since she was born but used a calendar app to avoid getting pregnant.

I took a clear blue ovulation test this morning & got a static smiley face, my CM is watery but not stretchy but DTD anyway and trying again tomorrow! Anyone know if there's a chance?

We were trying for DD for 6 months so know it may take a while, I opk'd then too but will have to get myself used to it all again

I'm about 10dpo today I think - I haven't tracked anything at all this month but I did keep an eye on CF and I think I may have ovulated around CD 13-16. If I go by CD 16 I'm 10DPO.
Had some light spotting yesterday morning and day before when wiping but have had some other 'symptoms'- really sore boobs, light abdominal cramps over the last week and heartburn/nausea (unusual for me before Af). Hoping these are good signs ...

How is everyone else doing? Anyone testing? Xx

Welcome @whiteflower84 there is always a chance if your DTD close to ovulation, doesn't need to be same day.

I'm just waiting for ovulation, not started doing opks yet, probably another 9 days till I'll get a peak but might start testing on Wednesday.

Well I'm out for May! AF arrived yesterday - two days later than anticipated so I thought I was in with a shot but there we are!
I've had a good chat with DP and explained how I've felt about the whole planning/tracking etc being one-sided and he agreed and said he wants to make this happen so will be more involved and proactive which is great!
I told him I don't want to have to instruct him when to DTD 😂

Hi guys, hope everyone is doing ok? I'm nervously coming back after the chemical, I had to take some time away from MN as it was all too much for a bit. But the bleeding has now stopped, so back on the merry go round it is!
Really scared of trying again in case we have another loss, but gotta try otherwise a baby will never happen!

Sorry if I've missed any announcements, hoping for happy news all round in June
