Help! Confused! Low level hcg - faint lines - ectopic? Anyone had similar?

Will summarise as I've posted quite a bit recently 🙈

Was on the mini pill for 6 months after having my baby 12 months ago, stopped in November. Still breastfeeding for naps if that matters.

No bleed/withdrawal/period.

Dec had faint lines on frer and cb early abd one step (faint but very obvious and there) Went negative - assumed chemical (had before) but didn't bleed

Dr said to contact if not bled 2 months later

2 months later (feb) had more faint positives (multiple brands again). Dr wanted blood test. Booked the earliest for 4 days later. The next day the test was negative and then blood test came back negative (below 1)

Still no bleed

March , I know when I ovulated as I had a positive opk and raised temp.

At 7dpo I had pink spotting

8dpo excited about the spotting thinking implantation was impatient and tested, seemed like a super super faint early positive line but was pretty sure it wasn't when the bleeding turned red that day.

9dpo still red blood

10dpo some pink spotting then stopped

Still getting faint positives.

Now 17dpo - 4 days late
They are so faint I'm sure this can't be a successful pregnancy so I'm not looking for things that's aren't there, tbh I'd rather be negative and have my period.
Shadow faint but there and has colour and just about capture most on camera but barely (very faint!) but had blank white negatives in between!

Clear blue early
Frer
One step strip
Easy@home strip

Had them on all of the above. Dr has just told me to wait it out but I'm so confused and just want to know what's wrong with my body, I feel like it's broken.

After googling low hcg it showed ectopic but not sure if tests would be like this? Anyone had similar and what happened? I've had chemicals and sure it's not that and pretty. Sure 99.9% that it won't be a successful pregnancy.

If you got the end you deserve a medal and would hugely appreciate any advice/experience! 💕

Hi OP, you must be worried. The only way of knowing is ultimately hcg tests to see if they are doubling and an ultrasound eventually. My own experience of an ectopic is that my hcg levels indicated that the pregnancy was progressing as it should - I had other symptoms which indicated ectopic. It’s not all about the hcg, which as far as I’m aware, differs depending on the individual.

If I were you, I’d be pushing the doctor to be taking it up with a specialist or a referral to an EPU. Is this something you could do? Good luck

@NigellasMicrowave thank you so much for your reply and I'm so sorry about your ectopic 💕

That's what I thought it was only when I googled low hcg levels it mentioned ectopic.

It's just very confusing, I tried and they told me to wait a week and if still getting a positive no matter how faint to self refer to the midwives but I don't think I'm pregnant (or not that will end with a baby) so feel silly doing that
