Hi everyone! We are currently trying for baby #3 This is cycle 2 and CD5. Period last week was shorter and lighter than normal, really confused me as its never been like that, did 2 tests but both BFN so trying again this month :) Not putting too much pressure on it, just going with the flow and if it happens it happens, trying not to stress too much about it 🙈 anyone else TTC this month? Hoping I can chat in here with people doing the same ❤

We are on cycle 5. TTC baby #2. Managed to be quite chilled for the first few months but now doing BBT Natural Cycles and OPKs 🤣
Generally driving myself crazy- why do we do this to ourselves?!?

DPO 11 today. Been getting lots cramps and twinges/tugging feeling so got my hopes up for implantation pain... BFN this morning. So crushing 😔

Welp got a BFN this morning at 11 DPO, I'm using dollar store tests. Tempted to go buy some FRER but I'll try to wait til AF is due on Thurs. Feeling deflated but still holding on hope. Was hoping if I waited to 11 DPO to test I wouldn't feel so crushed at seeing BFN but it still hurts just as much ugh.

@Puppymamababymama sorry to hear you got a bfn, my af is die between Thursday- Saturday by my app, I'm 8dpo had pink cm at 3 dpo and 6dpo have no idea what that was about x

@Lealu @Puppymamababymama sorry to hear about the BFN! But also you guys aren't out until AF shows up! I've read so many other ladies not getting their BFP until after AF was due so maybe just not enough of the hormone to pick it up yet! So fingers crossed for you both ❤ I got my first BFP 11 DPO but it was VERY faint! To the point I thought it was just my imagination, I had to tilt it every way to actually see it! So hopefully if you wait another few days you will see a lovely dark line!! Sending lots of baby dust 💓

@Puppymamababymama @Lealu I agree with @Mumofboys20122017 I tested at 10/11dpo which was Monday morning and got BFN. I then tested on Thursday morning 13/14dpo so day of my AF and I got my BFP!! So it does happen! Crossing my fingers that it’s something similar for you guys 🤞🏻❤️ It’s not over until AF shows!!

Thank you ladies I know I shouldn't count myself out yet, now that I've tested I have that POAS urge. Gonna try to hold out to test again until 14DPO which is when my AF is due but have a feeling I'll probably test again on Tuesday, Thursday feels so far away 😂

@Puppymamababymama sorry you got a BFN also, sigh. At 8dpo it could still happen for you. I admire your restraint waiting until Thursday to test again, let us know how you get on 🤞

Thanks @Mumofboys20122017 and @Tryingandhopeful I’m gonna test again in the morning. Or Wednesday if I can wait, but that’s unlikely 🤣 Then I’ll be 11 or 12 DPO. But I’m not holding out much hope as I have short cycles (26-27 days) so yesterday’s frer test was only 1 or 2 days before AF was due, at which point the packet said its 99% accurate. So I’m trying to reconcile myself to waiting for the next cycle... 🌈

9dpo- not sure what to think of this? It came up within two minutes and has a vvfl on which is pink just very faint and hard to see x

@Mumofboys20122017 aw thank you, glad you're keeping well and hope the nausea isn't too bad this time round! I had it badly with my DC in 1st trimester so sympathise...

@amyannx ooooh I think that looks promising...I tried with this test a few times last week (if it's a FRER?) and only ever got a stark white, which obviously turned out to be the right reading for me...not even a hint of a line. If it has colour seems even more promising, especially as it turned up in 2 mins! Really hope it gets darker for you tomorrow ✨

@tothemoonandback21 thank you! Yeah it's super faint but definitely pink and my easy home one was even fainter so hoping it's a early positive and not evap line x

@amyannx I did a lot of googling about evap lines last week! I think they are quite controversial as to whether they are really a thing or not - there's a thread on mumsnet if you search called 'the myth of evap lines' which was written by a clinician and suggests they don't exist...he said if it has colour, it's positive just early. Also says it takes a long time for these tests to dry out, 2 mins seems too quick for that to happen. But lots of people seem to think evap lines are a thing, at least after the 10min mark. HCG doubles every day I think so you should have a stronger line tomorrow if it's real...so maybe distract yourself as much as you can today and sending you lots of luck for when you next test! 🍀

Update from me: so I went for me scan this morning and thankfully pregnancy is in the right place! As expected only sac and yolk seen but I’m only 5 weeks 4 days! I do have a corpus luteum cyst which they think is the culprit of the pain I experienced last week! They’re not too concerned about it right now and said it should go away on its own, although there is a small amount of free fluid in my pelvis - again they weren’t concerned but want to monitor it! I have another scan in a couple of weeks to check viability and hopefully see a heartbeat 🤞🏻

@Tryingandhopeful I hope so! I had the same as you with my ds, only saw the yolk and sac then at nearly 8 weeks I had another and saw the baby and heartbeat x

@amyannx that looks promising 😊 the first one I did where I thought I seen a line I thought my mind was playing tricks on me but could deffo see something just like yours and sure enough the few days after it got darker and then was confirmed with a CB digital! Fingers crossed it gets darker for you and you see your noticeable BFP over the next few days ❤❤

@Mumofboys20122017 thank you, I just did this test now and it's even darker than that my first response was this morning! I did use this test this morning and got a vvfl couldn't even get it on camera and now this one tonight it better x

Was able to not let myself test today but I'm probably going to test again tomorrow morning at 13DPO and then if AF doesn't show at 14DPO I'll buy some more tests. Really hoping there's a little bean in there 🤞
