Anyone else currently on the two week wait ?

This is my first two week wait and it’s driving me bonkers. I’m currently trying for baby#2 and I’m 7 DPO. I’m going to test with a First response in about 3 days but the days are going soooo long. With my last baby I wasn’t tracking it was our first try but I had just come off the pill and hadn’t even got a period yet so wasn’t expecting much but I knew I was pregnant when (I estimate it was about 7DPO )I got a lot of CM and food aversions I just knew then and about 4 days later I got my BFP.... this month I have symptoms but similar to PMS. Anyone else currently in limbo ? 🙈🤞🏻

@FinnsMammy Oh this is so helpful! I had some crazy vivid dreams last night and sore boobs this evening. I also took a 3 hour nap this afternoon which is really rare for me. And I’ve also been sneezing. Hopefully I get a BFP soon too!

@Bexboo1 well, I want to wait until my period’s due which would be around the 6th or 7th (my luteal phase varies)... but I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait 😬 How about you?

Congratulations @heybabes , so you'll wait two days beofre telling DP? The suspense haha. Come and share your thoughts with us when you feel like you can't hold off any longer :)

As of today I'm officially starting my 14 day countdown DPO.. first one ever . I am confident I can remain calm and not spot check like an obsessed person, but we shall see
I know it can be a stressful time for many, but for me right now it's so heartwarming and exciting. We are on our road to become mums 😊

@ImmyTTC sounds like you might be pregnant too then 🥰 let us know how you get on. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻My symptoms have well and truly kicked in now I’m here sucking weathers to stop the Nausea 🙈 xx

@FinnsMammy I really hope so! I’m super nauseous today as well, and more crazy dreams last night. My boyfriend kissed me on the forehead this morning while I was sleeping and I woke with a start because I was dreaming I was in an aquarium and I thought he was an octopus 😅 Trying to wait to test, but the temptation to buy some FRER or CB early detection is getting progressively higher 😂

@ImmyTTC my dreams are so crazy too lol they are getting crazier... I think go and test with a frer once you hit 10 DPO why wait lol

Hi all, the thread seems to be super lucky! This is my 1st tww and it's hell! 6 dpo going to take the dreaded test next Monday so still a week to go! How is everyone doing today?

Girls, after some advice.. I've had 2 positive frer so far, I'm one day late (minimum) for at today. I took a cheapy one step today and it's so faint! But the frers are much darker.. I did have to go for a wee at about 5:45 and tested at 9am.. is it just less hormones in my urine? I thought it would show considering at is late and the other positives.. I've got more frer coming today and clear blue digi.. it's just making me question if I'm pregnant or not??! Any advice? X

Hello 👋🏻 welcome! I am 3 DPO, first cycle. Feeling confident/calm? We've covered all bases, and I've been healthy and relaxed/well rested. Feel like it's been a perfect environment for the baby 😆

How long have you been trying for? When are you planning to test?

I think if you're getting lines then you are. But really we can't see inside your uterus so don't want to tell you one thing when actually we've no idea 😁 can you keep yourself busy for a day? Then test tomorrow again. I know it just be hard xx

@Mrsmujic try not to feel disheartened by the cheap strips, I've found them to be a lot weaker than FRERs and CBs. I did x4 tests this AM (I can't help myself) and this is what they all looked like at 13dpo if this helps.

@Mrsmujic also it's definitely true that the morning sample is generally much more concentrated than any that follow so try again in the morning and see how you get on. I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

I’m 8dpo and getting the urge to test now trying to hang off to at least 12dpo I had said I’d wait to 14 dpo but I don’t think i can lol

Veronika13 Heyyyyy! This is my first month of trying, I had my implant removed in January and Feb my body was adjusting. I think I have done everything right, opk testing, lh surge, timed sex but who the hell knows! The lack of control and what feels like sheer luck is a minefield! I am quite calm but I am not a patient person and this tww is horrible! I will be testing 5th April which is 1 day before af... The fact you're so calm is amazing - like you say great environment for baby making, when are you testing?

@Mrsmujic congratulations!!! Thats wonderful news. I'm so glad you got it on the digi, makes it feel more real right? I got my first digi BFP today at 13 dpo. I tried to hold off as long as I could before using it! Due date looks to be Dec 6-8 depending on which app I listen to. I think Dec 6 is more accurate but guess I'll have to wait and see!!

I've already self referred to the Maternity Services in my local area. I called my GP first and they weren't really interested and told me to self-refer. Googled maternity services at the the hospital I know I prefer and submitted the form so waiting for my booking in appointment now. Pretty nervous about this bean sticking etc. so I think it's going to be a long and slow road ahead!

Hi, so just after a bit of advice. I’m currently 12 days late on period . I am also never ever late or miss a period, 31 days between cycles . Last period was 18/2/21. I’ve done some tests , FREP CB , strip tests etc . And the last day or so I swear I can see the faintest of lines . Is there a chance of pregnancy? Did anybody else’s test not test positive until way over ? I’ve been having symptoms ; aching & sleepy etc . Just after a bit of hope 😩 ANY sort of advice pls xx

Feeling still patient but did have a dream last night that I found out I was pregnant and was really upset that the life I know is gone.

Strange as I really want the baby and don't feel like that when I'm awake 🤣
So as patient as I intend to be, clearly I'm already affected by the process haha
Just a few more days for you! Do you think you can hold off or will test a bit early ? X

@Veronika13 I think thats probably normal, its a big decision/responsibility to have a baby, it's defo not a decision I took lightly! I have always been very career focused with the whole attitude "there is plenty of time to decide that". A baby will change your life but for the better! A friend of mine said to me if you have a baby you will never regret it ever, but can you say the same if you don't and you miss the window? Totally normal to have those kind of dreams I was dreaming about Mary Popins last night - god knows why and now I cannot get "Lets go fly a kite" out of my bloody head haha

I am defo going to wait till Monday, if it is a BFN I want to be sure it is and not because its too early, just thinking about it not being pos makes me emotional but if it is, I will pick myself back up and keep on trucking! xx

@JoannaJellyBean Hey! I’m also testing soon, I feel like we’re in a very similar part of the wait 😅 I’m 8dpo and testing at 10dpo, and 12dpo. And after, if they’re negative, I’ll just wait for AF to either show or not show before making any more testing decisions 😂

@ImmyTTC we are at exactly the same point! 8dpo! Let me know how 10dpo test goes (fingers crossed for BFP), I am too scared to test early! Do you feel any different? Experiencing any tww symptoms? I sometimes think I am but then it could just be my mind playing tricks on me and some women don't get symptoms but are pg sooo that isn't helpful! Please keep me posted on your progress x

@JoannaJellyBean I've had a bunch of symptoms since 5dpo but trying not to get my hopes up too much as I had a chemical pregnancy on my last cycle. I told myself I was going to wait to test until AF was due, but I can't do it!! I've also had situations like my last cycle where I got a negative test 2 days before AF was due and BFP on the day AF was meant to show up, so the early negatives don't stress me out too much.

My symptoms so far have been craaazy dreams every night for the past 3 nights, some mild cramping, back ache, a brief bit of nausea, sneezing but no cold, white creamy CM (sorry if TMI!) and I've been completely exhausted. I've napped for at least an hour, 3 days in a row, and that's really unlike me. But the issue is, I also have endometriosis and get weird symptoms all the time anyway. The fatigue and dreams are definitely different from normal, but it could be due to my weird hormones, not pregnancy

How about you? Any symptoms yet x
