Bleeding light, got heavier then positive test? Help

Sorry it's a bit long but want to make sure I don't miss anything that could be important as I'm very confused and can't call my dr til tomorrow.

Also sorry tmi taking about period blood!

7dpo - started spotting very pale pink when I wiped, got a bit excited

8dpo - tested stupidly as was hopeful from the previous days light bleed - negative frer - but when I wiped it was red - felt a bit sad and confused but apparently when still breastfeed (12 month old) you can have a shorter lp so just assumed it was my period and hoped it wouldn't take long to get back to normal as not sure how long the lp has to be for a chance to conceive. Blood then got lighter in colour and amount so felt a bit hopeful again.

9dpo - this morning - wake up do a test as was hopeful and confused, got a very faint but definitely there line (hard to photograph so edited with gamma) - but then when I wiped still very bright red blood (spot in underwear but a good amount when wiping - took several wipes)

Can anyone help, has anyone had similar and what happened?

Could this be super heavy implantation bleed (I haven't bled at all since April 2020 (pill which was stopped in nov and bf)? Or could it be an early chemical but I've always had positive tests then a week or so later bled not bled then had a positive test)

Or could it be something else? I'm panicking ectopic but surely that wouldn't bleed this early anyway? 😞

Hey, I just had something very similar happen. I had a faint line on two tests and a bunch of digital negatives. Now I have dark blood. Going to test again in 3 days as I had the positive test yesterday and am bleeding today. I would only be about 5 weeks so the hormones might not be at high enough concentration for the clear blue. But the pink one has that line going smh

I have been going through your messages and I'm abit worried because i am trying to conceive and my period came in 3 days earlier and I'm thinking it's implantation bleeding. I'm a little bit hopeful because my normal period flows very heavy for four days. But with this , it is day two and i have used just two pant liners. I also experience light crams on my lower abdomen. I see red dark blood dropping in the toilet pot each time i use the rest room. Please help me. I havent taken a PT. I'm still very scared. Please help me, what can this be?

Hi, this is my 3rd pregnancy, I’m only 4 weeks, however yesterday (Friday I got red blood before bed) this morning it’s brown and not heavy, but did get dark brown discharge a bit later on. Iv never had any bleeding with previous pregnancies. Can’t speak to anyone as it’s the weekend. Everyone says implantation bleeding is pink or light, and am I too late for implantation bleeding. My only thing is, the blood appeared a day after my period was due. I had about 5 positive tests, even early ones showed positive

Hello i am just very very confused The first day of my period was May 2nd it ended on the 7th i have have intercourse every day since… yesterday on the 22rd i started bleeding again but it seems like old blood its not filling up the pad but some did drop in the toilet i never had my period twice in one month could i be pregnant and this is implantation bleeding?

@Nisielove that's too much for implantation bleeding, looks like you ovulated and had another period again

hello so this is a little long

so yesterday i took a test and a line came up within the time frame i have had to lower the brightness of the picture because my camera is rubbish but it came within the time frame and disappeared 3-4 mins later ?
this was at 9pm
but yesterday at 5pm had pink blood only when i wiped till 4am this morning dark red not enough to fill a pad had back cramps but eased at 6-7pm today with the blood going back to pink
i wiped again and it’s back to dark red almost brown again
and it’s not heavy it’s every time i wipe
my period is not due for 5 days and i’ve has no pms symptoms whatsoever
and these symptoms are
sore boobs
peeing loads
migraine/ headaches
craving sweet things
crying at everything
i tbink im going to a&e tomorrow to see what’s going on but has anyone else experienced this ??

id also like to add i’ve only had back cramps no front ones either /: i’ll post a picture of the test top is ovulation and bottom is preg test
i did an ovulation because my LH is normally really high during my period

i’ve had no pms symptoms and i don’t have really any stomach cramps i’m still going to a&e tomorrow because i don’t feel right

Hi all, I’m needed some advice and support here. I’ve had faint lines since 9dpo but this morning got my period. Feeling really low and down about this. Has anyone had a faint line and then got their period.. but then ended up pregnant? Thanks for your replies in advance. Clutching at straws

Hey guys, looking for advice!
so the last week and a half I’ve been experiencing nausea, dizziness and slight craving. But last Thursday I started getting very light cramping and then Saturday eve very light spotting. Now it’s heavier. But I’m not due on my period until the 7-8th so quite early.

I did do a test which was negative but is this just an unusual early period or heavy implantation bleeding?

Hi I’m new to this and I’m 21 I took some tests back in early January on the 7th around 7-9 and I had a faint line but ended up having a period. I’ve been getting my period on the 10th of the month every month lately (I used to have irregular periods now they are tryna regulate)I tested again in January 2x between then it was inconclusive but the second time which was the 24th of January again it was super faint again. I called the doctor and they set an appointment for the 5 since January 10th was the last start day of my period. Today is now Feb 19 I was having cramps and breast soreness before w fatigue and nausea. Im hungry on and off but yesterday Feb 18 I had pink spotting to brown spotting today its bright but can look dark and old. Please help me I already had a miscarriage last year I don’t want another.

Absolutely devastated.

I was getting faint positives a week ago. Tested positive 1-2 weeks on a digital test. Over the moon... (pics 1 and 2)

3 days later- bled red blood mixed with a lot of watery cm for 2 days.

Today (pic 3) I'm still getting faint positives..

I spotted a couple weeks ago (mid cycle) which I put down to implantation bleeding- hence testing before period was due and now I have just had a 2 day period, so am guessing I have lost the pregnancy but still receiving faint positives.

Surely if I was pregnant, the line would now be darker a week later (4.5 weeks)

I guess I'm just looking for some hope it's still hanging on, although I think I know deep down, it's gone
