Early ovulation mean earlier period?

Hi ladies, I thought I would jump on here for some opinions. I normally have a 27 day cycle, ovulating on day 13. This month, I apparently ovulated on day 12 so only a day early but my app has estimated that AF is due today (day 25) so I'm just wondering whether earlier ovulation means that your cycle is shorter and I'm therefore late? I did a test yesterday which was obviously negative.

I believe your luteal phase should mostly stay the same so yes if you ovulated early your period should also come early x

I would’ve thought so but bodies are weird things! Surely your period would be due tomorrow though if your luteal phase is 14 days and you ovulated on day 12?
