TTC Soya Isoflavones, When to start taking them ?

Hi everyone,

I have been TTC for the last 16 months. I thought I would try Soya Isoflavones, as someone suggested on a previous thread I made.

I have started spotting slightly today ( my period is due) Does this count as day 1? or should I wait till I have a proper day of bleeding to count as day 1?

I decided I would take it days 2-6? Does anyone have any advise on the best combo for someone that has very long cycles approx 47 days and is unlikely ovulating.

I would appreciate any adviceSmile

Thank you!

Good morning! It's a difficult one, o took Soy Iso this month on days 3 to 7, but it might have been days 4 to 8 as day 0 (or day 1) was vvvvv light spotting.

Good luck to you! I hope they bring your ovulation forward!

@Starfish789 what do you take at the moment? I also have crazy long cycles with often no confirmed ovulation. I've started taking inositol and d chiro inositol which have a pretty good evidence base for supporting healthy ovulation.

I was taking pregnacare conception which had inositol but felt it made my periods really heavy and long so stopped. I am taking B vitamins only at the moment.

I still confused about IS because i only have a bit of blood when wiping sometimes. So do not know if it counts as day 1

@Kay00 I am tempted to start taking them as I do not want to miss the window. But I litterly have barelyyyyy any spotting. Let see how the days goes.

Good luck!! Hope this month is a BFP for you.
