Hi, I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone had experienced anything similar to this. It's the weekend and I can't call my doctor, so would love to share stories.
My husband and I have been TTC for over 3 years. We dtd practically every day, so the notion that it hasn't happened yet is intimidating. We've both done some initial testing a couple months ago, and started vitamins, but with covid it's been hard to get the ball rolling as fast as we'd like.
I've been charting for the last 5 months, and using LH test strips. Last month was really stressful, so I didn't chart very well at all, but I got my period Feb. 22nd, on time. It was on the heavier side and lasted for 7 days. Now today, which would be CD12, I went to take an LH test and it came back as a strong peak, which is odd for me, because I usually ovulate later than earlier.
So on a whim, I took a HCG (a cheap one) and there is a faint line, but definitely there.
I'm thinking it might be a faulty test or something, I'm going to try to get a better one. But it just seems like that can't be possible. I just don't believe it.
Is it possible to get a full blown period for a week and still be pregnant?
(I'm so sorry if this is in the wrong forum area, I wasn't sure where it best applies)
