Anyone want to join me in being thoroughly distracted for the next 2 weeks?!

I am on CD19. I have a 28 day cycle and no idea when I ovulated but had EWCM really early this cycle (CD11-14).
AF due on the 13th.

We have been taking the 'relaxed approach' for the past 3-4 months. If it doesn't happen this month, going to take a break next cycle to avoid a Christmas baby (anyone else thinking of this?!) and then get properly tracking with OPKs, maybe temping etc.

@madeinthe80z Thankyou!! It moving from normal means I'm due either AF or a BFP on my birthday! If AF then definitely will be a sad wine and birthday cake indulgence 😂

2 BFPs on birthdays on a month that we haven't DTD much would be insane haha.

Had a hot bath earlier because I'm in a 'sod it all' mood now, I'll probably keep tracking ovulation just incase though!

Not been on here in a few days, trying not to get addicted to symptom spotting and testing this month 🤣 I’m 4dpo today, I’m hoping we dtd enough, we did 4days before ov and ov day!

Have you guys told anyone you’re trying? We haven’t as I didn’t want the added pressure of people knowing and waiting if you know what I mean, but finding it hard not to be able to talk about it! My friend told me has started trying and know it’s silly and selfish but I don’t want to be the not pregnant one 😩 here’s hoping it’s our month this month!

Seems like we have all been a bit lax on the DTD front this month!! I have worked out the last time we DTD was about 48 hours before ovulation so not great chances this month either!

I haven't told anybody. I remember with my first we didn't tell anybody and it was really exciting being able to surprise people with our news so when we did get to do it, it was really nice.

Our close friends and family know we are open to ha ing another but we haven't really discussed when. If you feel you need someone close to unload on then go for it though. Otherwise you just have us 🤣

@madeinthe80z yeah I think you’re right! I’ll keep it to myself for now, don’t want the added pressure if it doesn’t happen 🙈

I’m 6dpo today, gonna try and hold out testing this month til at least 10dpo 🤣

@Bellesjp I have faith in you!! I am going to test from Tuesday.
Its sill really, chances are slim to none this month and I think I'll only be 8dpo but I'm not gonna kid myself and pretend I have self control 🤣

Oh noooo I just got a positive on an ovulation strip! I was wrong about last week! Thought I was 6dpo but turns out I'm just about to ovulate 😂
Super late ovulation this month, the wait will be even longer arghhhh

Well I’m 10dpo today and still yet to test! Going to maybe test tomorrow or Thursday if I can wait 🙈

@AAR25 think it’s cos I’ve kept myself busy this bank hol weekend 😂 last month I caved at 6dpo or something stupid lol!

@Bellesjp it's my first month trying so maybe the crazy early testing is a first month thing!

@AAR25 not really, I’ve been trying not to symptom spot haha I’ve got sore boobs but do get that anyway! This is our 4th month trying so trying to not over analyse or find it takes over the whole tww.. easier said than done 🤣

@Bellesjp definitely easier said than done.

I've had a few things, but fairly sure that most were in my head apart from the really bad lower back over the weekend. That definitely wasn't in my head but not sure it would have anything to do with pregnancy this early on.

May I join please? TTC with #1 with my partner. I think I may ovulate on Saturday/Sunday according to my fertility friend app. I've been using the app to track my cycles for over a year and found it easy to use so sticking with it. Ovulation tests have arrived but not sure when to use them during the day or night? My cycles are usually 29/30 days although sometimes I get 23/25 day cycles thrown in to confuse me 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

So far we have dtd on cd7&9 as my partner works away.

Any and all advice would be grateful as I've already got my hopes up massively for this month, I'm so excited to find out if we're lucky xxx

Welcome @FergietheFirst fingers crossed you're a lucky one who manages to get pregnant first try! But if not, my only advice is try and relax and have fun with it for a good 3 months or so before starting to obsess over ovulation tests etc. If you can, just try and DTD every other day!

Anyone testing yet?? BFN for me this morning although I didnt really have much hope for this month anyway!!

How many DPO are you? Fingers crossed it's just too early for you yet

@AAR25 I am 8 or 9 DPO today but AF is due tomorrow/Fri as I only have a 10 day luteal phase so time will tell I guess!

I think I'm 9 dpo but could be further. AF is due Monday so we'll see!

Which tests are you using? I've used FRER so would expect to see a line by now if it was going to be positive, right?

@AAR25 not necessarily, I think people think FRERs are magic but won't always work super early for everyone. Certainly not for me as I only have a 10 day luteal phase, if I tested 5 days before AF due, I would only be 4DPO so wouldn't see a darn thing!

I'm only using one step cheapies, I have promised myself that this month, particularly as we only DTD 2/3 days before ov, I'm only going to use a FRER if something shows up on a cheapie! Hopefully save it for next month when we have agreed to 'properly' try!!

I’m bfn too 😩 11dpo today as well, I only used Femometer cheapies, will carry on with them for a few more days, due af on Sunday

@madeinthe80z that's true, I hadn't thought about it like that and I suppose with it being our first cycle I don't really have any idea about my luteal phase etc. I will get some ovulation strips for next cycle.

Now I don't know if I'm just going bananas but I was convinced I could see the faintest ever line yesterday. So was hoping it would be there again today and a bit darker. I'm pretty sure it's there again but still super faint. I've put a dot on the back of today's and if I look at them together I can tell which one is today's. Am I going mad? Has anyone ever had the squintiest squintiest line two days in a row?
