Benefits of OPK's

Currently CD6 of cycle 2 TTC.
I've read a lot of people talking about OPK's and it's got me wondering if I should be using them too, but not sure if I would benefit from them.
My cycles are regular and I get signs of ovulation (EWCM, twinges etc) and we're DTD plenty throughout my fertile period so I'm not sure if using OPK's would actually change anything?
But on the other hand I'm 38 so I don't have time on my side, if it'll help then I'll do it.

Any thoughts?

How long are your cycles? If it's a big standard 28ish day cycle and you dtd regularly from like cd10-20 then you're set without opks.

I started using them the last two cycles and glad I did. Was only tracking by an app and had 28-32 day cycles. First time I ovulated day 16 this cycle I ovulated day 18. If I stuck with the apps I probably would of missed my most fertile days altogether. Makes me feel like I'm doing the most I can too xx

It might be worth trying it for a couple of months. That way you can see if your twinges etc line up with them. Personally I'm just a poas addict. So any excuse! 😂 but we struggled to conceive by "winging it". We also only don't have sex all the time so we like to make each one count.

@Juno231 my cycles are around usually around 24 days, last month was 27 days.
I know that my previous pregnancies were conceived quite early in my cycle, I'm pretty sure I usually ovulate around day 10-11.
