Missed ovulation and Covid vaccine

Hi

I had my Covid vaccine in the early days of my cycle and have failed to ovulate this month... I do my bbt daily and my temps have failed to go above my cover line. I have never not ovulated in the past 3 years. Now stressing I’ve messed up our chances of ttc. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks Smile

There's nothing in the vaccine that can interfere with your ovulation, so I wouldn't worry. Women have months when they don't ovulate occasionally, just try next month! Good luck :)

Stressing about it is more likely to be what has prevented ovulation. Or, more likely than that, just ‘one of those things’. I was told by my GP that the average woman only ovulates 10 out of 12 cycles.

I've heard the 10 months out of 12 thing so really don't worry.

I'm interested that you didn't delay ttc. I've been ttc for over 3 years so when I do get offered the vaccine I don't know what I'll do. They used to say wait 3 months but I don't see why when they also say it won't affect fertility. I'm a secondary teacher so I'd feel much happier being vaccinated but don't want to delay ttc. It's a hard decision.

Definitely a difficult decision. I’m a frontline healthcare worker and when the initial information was released in delaying ttc I decided against the vaccine, but I’m in peoples homes every day and I need to keep my family safe also so went for it. Just bizarre how this cycle my temps hve stayed low, never happened to me before. It could also be coincidental??

I've had my first vaccine and having my second in a couple of weeks. I have decided to wait until after my second before ttc. I was told that the guidelines about ttc have changed and now they say that there is no harm in falling pregnant straight after but I wasn't sure if that meant after the second. I had a normal cycle after my first one though

@HotFudge87 I had Covid last month which delayed my cycle by 10 days. Then I got the vaccine the following month and this month I'm only getting flashing smilies on CD26/27 whereas I normally OV around CD21. I believe it's due to the fever I had both post Covid and post vaccine. I'm also a frontline worker like yourself and didn't want to delay TTC. But also never ever want to experience Covid again so went for it. Good luck to all you ladies Smile
