TTC after Mirena IUD removal - in limbo

Hey ladies! I had my Mirena coil out after WAY too long (nearly 10 years!!) And I had no periods that whole time. It came out last friday and I've not bled at all. I've been temping and using cheapy opks a few times a day purely to figure out where I'm at! Anyone else had luck finding their cycle groove after having no periods for so long?

Hi! I had two Mirena coils back to back so 10 years in total without periods. I had it removed in Dec 2019 and had a light bleed a week later that I don't think was a period, more a withdrawal bleed I think. My period returned the following month and by May 2020 I fell pregnant. I was charting my temp and tried OPKs for a couple of months. Fingers crossed for you!

i was was to told to wait for my next period before trying,i did that combined with ovulation sticks to get a idea of my cycle. Worked fine i was pregnant a few months later

@pendlepeanut thanks for your story. That makes me feel good. My Clearblue advanced have given me 2 flashy smileys now so my estrogen must be doing something.

@rosydreams I was told I was fertile immediately and that I could try right away? I've seen a lot of differing advice though so I'm not surprised! Glad you got pregnant after the coil! Makes me hopeful!
