Line eyes?

I'm on a treatment plan for recurrent miscarriage and if I'm pregnant today I'm supposed to increase the amount of progesterone I take. I've never taken a test early before, only minimum two days late. I feel I can see a shadow of a second line hut I don't know if that is wishful thinking? Any thoughts anyone?

@VenusStarr, appreciate your honesty. I am also very aware that even if this is positive it doesn't mean it's not going to end in miscarriage/translate into a baby. With (4) previous pregnancies I've never tested before 16dpo so I have no comparison. These were two tests from the same pack and I didn't leave long enough for it to be dried or an indent, but they could be dodgy tests.

Just to update, I did a test this morning and it was definitely negative. So I'm not sure what happened, maybe a chemical, or a dodgy test. I've stopped the progesterone so hopefully my period will start soon and maybe the next cycle will be my lucky one. Thanks for all your support.

I'm sorry to hear that @Needanewnamenow I put mine down to dodgy tests, it was too upsetting to think of it as another early loss xx

@Needanewnamenow hi, sorry to read what you've just been through....
You say you're under Prof Brosens at Cov Implantation Clinic... has he suggested the CERM trial to you?

Needanewnamenow · 26/02/2021 15:27

@NoCallerID he did not, although i've just had a look and it looks like you get your GP to refer you. Is this something you are doing?

Hello Smile

Just after a bit of advice please! I am due on my period tomorrow (I think). I had a miscarriage last year at 10 weeks and we have been TTC since. I have been feeling off and not myself so I have done a few clearblue 6 days early tests and I think I can see a line on the one from this morning but I’m unsure if it’s a positive or an evap line.

Can anyone see anything??!

@Needanewnamenow you get refereed to Tommy's by your GP. I'm under Prof Quenby, she's the chief investigator for this trial and I was sure I had read Prof Brosens somewhere in the paperwork... quick google says he is a co-investigator.... Are you seeing him privately? Maybe this could be why he's not mentioned anything. Or maybe he thinks it wouldn't be suitable for you. The way Prof Quenby immediately told me about it, I just assumed any patients of participating researches would be told...

@Needanewnamenow oh and yes, I've just finished it. I tested positive for chronic endometrisis (after a TFMR a year ago followed by 4 early miscarriages)

Needanewnamenow · 27/02/2021 04:04

@NoCallerID yes I know about Tommy's referral under gp, for various reasons I didn't go down that route but I read you can be referred to the trial directly via your GP as well. Perhaps I wouldn't be suitable and that's why it wasn't mentioned although I guess there is no harm in asking. Thank you though, good luck to you.
@Wildflower28 you should start your own thread. I wish you well but I am sure you appreciate that any discussion about your, potentially, positive test, would be distressing to me on my thread about my definitely negative test.

@Needanewnamenow oh right, I was not aware you could be referred directly for the trial from your gp. (Mine certainly had no idea this trial existed when I told her...)
Might be worth asking, even if it's to be told you're not suitable. I find I need to explore every possible option.
