14dpo faint line success stories

Hi all,

I am 14dpo today and have had stark white negatives since 9dpo. Today I have a faint second line (pic attached). Did anyone else have lines this faint at this point and go on to have a successful pregnancy? I am due AF tomorrow.

For background, I have had 3 chemicals and this is my first month using Cyclogest pessaries.

Thanks all 😊

I can see it, but it’s a squinter! Was it first wee of the a day? Is it a frer?

I did 2 tests about 2 hours apart with baby one, one was like that and the other was a bit clearer but they were rubbish tesco ones and my period was already late at that point. So there’s hope but test again tomorrow!

Thanks for your reply! Yes, FRER and FMU. Looks like I'm off out to stock up on FRERS today to obsessively test. It's so hard not to freak out after 3 losses, especially with a line this faint so late in the game.

Oh bless you, well mine was that faint when AF was late so there’s hope! If it doesn’t work, maybe soeak to you gp about a referral to a miscarriage specialist? You might have already done this though.

Good luck!!!

Thanks! I have been referred to St Mary's recurrent miscarriage clinic and my appointment was meant to be in May last year but because of Covid I haven't been able to go. God this is so stressful

Hi @TheFutureFreaksMeOut how certain are you that you’re 14dpo? How were you tracking your cycles? Temping? As that would be the only way to be absolutely certain of your dpo.

If you were temping and definitely 14dpo then I’d say it’s possibly a little fainter than I’d expect for that late, and a day before af.

If you were just tracking using opk’s or something or going by an app then I’d say it’s possible you’re maybe not as many dpo as you think.

Or you maybe just implanted very late. If for example you didn’t implant until 12dpo then that would explain the extremely faint line you’re getting today at 14dpo.

Fingers crossed it gets darker! I always always found my lines were best in the afternoon/evening. FMU was always fainter lines.

Also sorry about your losses. I know how that feels. Am currently very cautiously 9 weeks pregnant after 4 miscarriages in the past 12 months. Xx

@TheFutureFreaksMeOut any updates? I have the same situation and wondering if yours turned out to be a BFP?

TheFutureFreaksMeOut · 25/04/2021 21:43

No, bfn I'm afraid
