7 days late and faint positive?

I'm sorry to ask this, but my head is spinning. I'm 7 days late and had 5 negative tests, just taken a test and it looks like a faint positive. But DH has said it's too faint?! Is it positive and should I be concerned how faint it is? Thank you!

That looks positive to me! Maybe you ovulated later than you thought? Xxx

That’s about right for those tests, they take weeks to get dark.

This is what happened with my son, got a faint positive a week after my period was due after loads off negatives. It turns out I had ovulated a week later then I thought!

Thank you, that's really reassuring! I was convinced after so many negatives it wouldn't be possible. It didn't help that DH said "that's not a pregnancy line, it's just the line to show where the pregnancy line would go..."

Very useful comment from DH 😂. Try a first response test, that should give a darker line. Oh and congratulations 😊
