How to distinguish evaporation lines..

From positive pregnancy tests? I've searched previous posts but they are mainly pictures of people asking whether their tests look positive or like an evaporation line...

We're planning on TTC soon and so I just wanted to start to understand this stuff before hand (I'd never heard of an evaporation line when TTC DD!)

Are they a different colour? Do they only tend to show up after the three minute wait time? Which tests are the worst for these!?

Thanks everyone x

Evaporation lines won't have colour to them. They're usually greyish.

It's always easier to tell the difference on a pink dye test rather than a blue dye as blue dye bfp's can look a bit grey when faint. X

Try a different test and compare if you're unsure. I had very faint lines on ebay cheapie tests last month but first response was stark white and clearly negative. Nothing against the cheap tests though, think it was just a dodgy batch.
