Anyone else 5dpo?

Hi all,

Thought I'd start a thread in case anyone wants to join me in the TWW.
I'm 5dpo today, this is CD2 for me after a chemical last month. Ive previously had a miscarriage and a PUL also.
So far lower abdomen has been tender for a couple of days and just felt more tired that usual. I'm guessing that's just post ovulation though? How is everyone feeling? I'm going to try hold off with testing until AF is late.

@NW2021 I'm now going up, I need my bed 😂. Oh il be the same, 100%. It's so annoying because on one hand I want to just relax and see if AF is late, so I won't be disappointed by all the BFN. But at the same time I hate not knowing 🤦🏻‍♀️. Plus even if I do get a BPF then il be even more anxious and on edge waiting for the spotting to start lol. It's just never ending Isn't it 😂. Have you had any losses before? You don't have you answer that of course ☺️ xx

@lockdownbabyx exactly the same as me! I wanna wait to see it AF shows because the disappointment of a bfn is worse (I’ve found) & I don’t want to test to early and then worry about a chemical.
No losses before, Ttc our 1st, only our 4th month Ttc but this one was the 1st time we’ve been able to DTD more in the FW so I’m hoping we’ve done enough!

@NW2021 oh I totally agree, the BFN are horrible! Still can't help ourselves though can we 😂.
Ooh hopefully this is your month then 🤞🏼. Yeah still trying for my first. Last year I had a PUL, which went on for weeks and weeks and it was so draining. I had to have methotrexate in the end which meant we weren't allowed to try and conceive again until after 3 months. So we had a break, worked out well actually as we moved house in that time and then I had to have my gall bladder removed 🤦🏻‍♀️. So last month was our first month ttc which sadly was a chemical. Hoping this month is our month too 🤞🏼.

Also typical that I'm now in bed and not tired! I just find myself reading loads of old threads on here 🤣

I am currently 5dpo, first month using OPKs so still learning about them. We had a mc 5 months ago and have not really been tracking or teying to time anything, so this is the first month really since. Super nervous and of course super excited all in the same moment.
AF due on the 22nd, so going to try and wait to test until then... ha- right!!!! I have cheapies and left over OPKs though, so not promising !

I’m 7dpo today.
I’ve got cramps and my boobs are really sore. This is common for me though in the week before AF is due, so I’m not hopeful.
Might do a cheeky test tomorrow

@lockdownbabyx it really is just the worst seeing that negative test! I’m really sorry I don’t know what a PUL is? It sounds like you’ve been through so much though! & a chemical last month, I’m so sorry! I didn’t realise till reading mums net how regular chemical pregnancy’s happen, I think that worries me more at the moment than anything else. I have everything crossed this is your month!

@Allegra82 I’m 7dpo today as well. I’ve not really had many symptoms either that aren’t different to AF. Mostly how I’m feeling I normally do before AF. I’m hoping now being 7dpo I might see some changes in the next couple of days when hopefully implantation May happen!

@NW2021 yeah it's not been easy, but they are so common like you said! Most people wouldn't detect them if they didn't test early. A PUL is a pregnancy of unknown location, I had never heard of it at the time either lol. My HCG was rising but they could never see the pregnancy anywhere. Was very strange!

@lockdownbabyx yes I think that’s one of the reason I don’t want to test early. Don’t want to see that positive then a chemical happen 😔 because I’ve read how common as well.

I’ve never heard of PUL, but very upsetting to go through! Positivity is key 🥰 keep positive! This is your month 🤍 defo keep us posted!

Ok so I caved and did a test lol. Purely because I woke up feeling horrendous this morning. I'm only 9dpo so it's a real squinter but I can def see something!
I have some FR being delivered Friday so will do another one then.

Can anyone else see the line though? Just to confirm I'm not crazy 🤣. I don't always trust these CB ones though so I'm not getting excited yet.

I can see lines! How many dpo are you? Eeeks, super exciting! Have you got any other tests? I find once I start testing I just cannot stop.
I am currently 10dpo and really trying to resist opening the tests.

@Milliemoo222 I'm 10dpo today, I took another test this morning using FR and there is no mistaking this one ☺️. I'm the same as you, after a chemical last month I can't help but worry. So I will be taking tests every couple of days just to check there is progression. When are you planning on testing? X

@lockdownbabyx can defo see that 2nd one! No hiding that line! Congratulations!! I’ve still not tested 🙈 holding out for Friday! No dip in my temp yet and tracking my RHR increasing so fingers crossed!

Oh my goodness! Congratulations!! There is no squint needed for that line!
I was planning to test 14dpo...but not promising! Hahaha. Really nervous to know and also really want to know. We had a mc last year and just super nervous but also REALLY want a BFP!!! Emotional roller coaster this ttc stuff! I have really late af last month and if the amount of tests I used are anything to go by then I might need to stock up now! Ha.
Eeeks super happy for you ! Be great to see the lines change as you progress for sure!

@NW2021 thank you! Can't believe I got a BFP this early lol. The anxiety has already kicked in though 🤦🏻‍♀️. You have done so well to wait this long! That's some will power you have haha how are you feeling?
I woke up feeling horrendous yesterday, blazing headache and boobs were on fire. I just had a feeling. Also had a full feeling in my lower abdomen for days and I never usually get that x

Thank you @Milliemoo222 I'm know I am in shock! Was not expecting a bfp so soon. Sorry to hear of your miscarriage, I've had 3 myself. One of them being a chemical on my last cycle so I've literally fell pregnant back to back 😱. I just hope this is a sticky bean 🙏🏼.

Haha yes I would for sure stock up! Obviously the longer you wait to test the better, but it's hard not to cave sooner. Have you got any symptoms so far? Xx

I was doing absolutely fine then from about 9DPO (Monday) the symptom spotting has gone mad! 😂🙈 I don’t want to get my hopes up at all but I’ve had a big spike in temp this morning & I’m just so tired. Today is 11dpo I’ve noticed the odd boob pain. I don’t know if I’m just overthinking or if it means pregnant. Only a test will tell I suppose! I’ve got to the point now where I’m too scared to test! Just in case it’s negative.

Aw bless you I know the feeling! You have some FR to use don't you? They are literally the only ones I trust! When is AF due? I really really hope you get your BFP, then maybe we can keep eachother sane In the early weeks as let's face it, it's just as bad as the tww 😂. Have everything crossed for you my lovely xxx

@lockdownbabyx yeah got the FR in and ready! It’s taking all the will in the world not to test. Af is due Friday but I’m testing Friday morning if she hasn’t made an appearance tomorrow!
I can only imagine the anxiety that then happens once you get the bfp! Building up to seeing that positive test then the real insane ness begins!! 😂🙈

I'm 5dpo today, me and DH pretty much seeing how things go, not strictly trying or avoiding either - basically I'd still be happy with a BFP 😂

@lockdownbabyx I’m just very bloated at the moment which I normally get before Af & I normally spot the week leading up which I haven’t this time. But who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m quite fortunate that I never really get period pains when I do they last like 10 mins then I know she’s going to arrive that day! So far nothing?! Soon have an answer Friday morning! 😬

I am sorry to hear of your experiences before this, my fingers are crossed for you and wish you a really healthy, positive and relaxed 9months, so exciting!
Urgh I have had what I would call twinges today, kinda in lower back and one side, my boobs are a little tender, but today my DH suggested I take a test as apparentlyI have been mean for days now ...REALLY trying to not read anything into it all though,.
