1-2 weeks on clear blue at 5 weeks pregnant - help!

Hi all,
I have had some issues with tests, they were showing faint when I first tested last week on Wednesday, the day of my period due.. I have took a few since and they are not that dark but still noticable.

Anyway.. a week ago on the wednesday I took a clear blue digi, it said pregnant 1-2. Took one two days after that, the same result, 2 days after that, same result, and today a week later, still 1-2 weeks.

I'm guessing this means I'm going to have a miscarriage?, as I am 5 weeks, a week late for my period. Im sure it would be 2-3 weeks if my levels were rising??

Honestly feel so sad. I have bloods today, and then on friday too, and I should no by friday evening (hopefully not monday!) If my levels are rising.

I'm not sure what I'm hoping to get from this post, I just feel really down, would like to hear other experiences, and I'm kind of trying to cling on too hope! But I know it's probably not a great sign!

Thanks ladies

When had my early miscarriage last year, at the same stage as you, I got not pregnant on a digital after a 1-2 weeks a week before. So you're still showing something so there's still hope.

I know how horrible it is to be in limbo. I hope this works out for you.

I have seen people comment that these clear blue tests aren't hugely reliable for the progression if that makes sense, some people never get the 2-3 weeks pregnant notification and just get the 1-2 weeks pregnant but still have had healthy babies.

Have a search on here theres a few posts about it x

Oh OP I wish I could give you a definite answer. But what I do know is I had a friend that for some reason used both in the same pot of urine and one came up 1-2 weeks and the other 2-3 weeks so I think they’re not the most reliable! There’s also the possibility if you’re taking them at different times of day as well as different strengths of urine that could be having an effect? If you’re really worried can you look into booking a private scan. I think they do them from 6 weeks but it’ll be internal. Good luck xxx

Hey they aren't very reliable, if it still says it in another week then maybe worry. You are very newly pregnant and the hormones are going up every 48 hours so give them a chance
To catch up

@Trustynickname can I ask how things turned out for you? I hope that everything went well! X

Hi,

I am sure I read that the 1-2 weeks is 1-2 from conception. Not 1-2 weeks pregnant. Hope all is well

I actually have a 9 month old now! My hgc levels were normal range on blood tests. Definitely don’t trust the digitals for reassurance on the weeks! As they kept coming back 1-2 weeks for a good while!
