2nd baby mummys conception time and age??

Hi all just curious really how long did it take to conceive your second baby and how old were you the second time? 😁

Hey, I'm 24 months in TTC #2 (different father though). #1 only took a couple of months

Fell pregnant with number 2 on our 2nd cycle of trying, I was 25. Currently on 11th cycle trying for number 3, I'm now almost 30.

#1 took me 9 months, age 26. #2 took me 9 minutes, age 28 😆

Ages for number 1 age 29. First time lucky number 2 age 31.

Number 1 we conceived in the first month aged 31, number 2 was third month of trying aged 34.

1st - 4 years Ttc plus 3 rounds of IVF to have my DD. Started ttc at 29, DD born when I was 33.

2nd - natural pregnancy - conceived 18 months after DD was born - Ds is due in 10 weeks when I'm 36.

Several naturally conceived MC's between DD and my current pregnancy.

No1 took nearly 4 years, age 30 - 34. Conceived 2nd whilst not trying and still breastfeeding and was born 13 months after DC1, so maybe a couple of months? Periods hadn't returned so its hard to tell.

3 months for both, age 32 and 34.

First attempt. Age 28.

Age 35; third month. Age 38; first month.

First took a year, second took two and a bit years. 34.

Third was unplanned...

First took 9 months when I was 36.
Second took one cycle when I was 39.

First took a year at 26/27
Second was first month at 34
Third was first month at 38

First month I was 33

Wow so there's a lot of first time try successes then. I think I have it in my head that my 2nd is going to take ages because I'm nearly 30 now 1st was unplanned 10 years ago! But I see thats not always the case

@Quail15 oh sorry to hear about the MCs but congratulations on your pregnancy isn't it mad how the body works needing IVF and then having naturals afterwards I was nearly an IVF baby and then my mum got pregnant with me

First pregnancy was in first cycle, age 32. Second pregnancy was 2nd cycle age 34.

@crazydoglady123 oh really.. has your new partner been checked out for fertility sperm count? Just with it being 24 months and your 1st was so quick? Sorry I'm not trying to be nosy or rude just a genuine question 2 years seems like a long time x

1st baby - I was 21 and unplanned
2nd baby - I'm now 31 and 2nd cycle

@covidarguments aww you're similar to me i was 20 and now im going to be 30... well I hope i have a baby for when I'm 30 anyway 8 months until I'm 30 🙈🙈

1st baby three months from coming off the pill age 27.
2nd baby aged 29 after 13 months trying, however I was still breastfeeding for four months of that. Then conceived first month on Metformin due to very irregular periods which I'd never had a problem with before my first baby.

Thanks everyone these have made me feel a bit better i just have it in my head that my age now (i know 30 is still young but eggs would have decreased since i was 20) time on pill 9 years, and length since my last pregnancy may impact it negatively like my body will think what you doing?? Its been 10 years 🤣🤣🤣

first one took 7 months aged 29, second took 2 months aged 33.

My sister took 2 months each time, aged almost 35 and nearly 37.

Conception isn't affected by the quality of the eggs. If a sperm reaches it it'll be fertilised.

Whether the result is viable may be an issue, but pretty unlikely to have made a difference by the age of 30.

I was 34 and it happened straight away.
