Hi everyone, just looking to see if anyone is just starting the next cycle and want to journey along together? We are TTC baby no.1 and this will be the 5th month of trying but 4th of actively using OPKs etc. After 2 months of being convinced we'd got pregnant and then AF arriving both times I'm getting a bit disheartened (and I am more than aware that it's really early days compared to most but it's just how it feels to me - can't seem to shake off the "something must be wrong feeling" even though you know it's probably fine) anyone trying anything new or different this month? Sending baby dust vibes to all!

@hels301990 oh no! I'm so annoyed for you!! How short was your cycle this month? At least it's normal to have it a few days early or later. The wait is over but its definitely a lot of emotions. Really sorry to hear that.

Bizarrely it's now stopped. Only to lull me into a false sense of security I'm sure! It's looking like a 25 day cycle compared to my usual 28 🤷‍♀️

Oh how odd!! Never had anything like that. Guess just keep an eye on it.

So confused and it seems so cruel of my body because I know I'll probably be hit by normal AF tomorrow or Sunday. So I had the browny spotting when I went to the toilet Friday at about 4ish then nothing else for the rest of Friday or overnight on my pjs or anything. Got up this morning and went to the toilet and red blood on the toilet roll so I had my cry that I was out again this month and put a tampon in, took it out at lunchtime to just find a few brown splodges. New tampon in for another 6 hours and completely white with nothing more since. I am about 10/11 DPO today.
And I'm sure after typing all that by tomorrow morning I'll have a full pad 🙄

@hels301990 have you taken a test? You do hear of women having light periods but being positive after? You could maybe call your gp if still nothing today? You might be able to get a blood test.

More red blood this morning as I guessed would happen :-( just want it to get going properly now so can consider it the start of the next cycle. This TTC thing is so hard, so jealous of those who manage it straight away (and I know others that take far longer than I have so far just feeling sorry for myself this morning)

Oh totally @hels301990. Perfectly natural to be jealous. I think we all get that way. It's difficult to be happy for someone else when you feel like you've been trying and wanting it more. Gutted to hear that happen to you though. Having hope that it's a implantation bleed and you're finally getting something then having it taken away just makes you hate you're body for not making at easy as you are told it should be. Have a big bar of chocolate or a gin or something to make you feel a tiny bit better and then keep going and trying. Time is rubbish and it will feel like forever but keep your head high. A lot easier said than done. Crying a lot helps I find. Such a lonely feeling it is.

Hi all, just wanted to let you know that I got my BFP today 😊 am so shocked- this month we were so laid back and only managed to dtd 3 days before and ovulation day. I hope you all get yours soon 🤞🏻 Xx

@Dominican20 congratulations!!! Did you take an early test of just wait for AF to not appear? Did you have many symptoms on the lead up other than what you mentioned before? Such good news!

So on Saturday I went to the shop and couldn’t resist buying cheap pregnancy tests they both had really faint lines and I didn’t know if I was imagining it or not, wish I never done that because I just spent all day Sunday wondering. Monday morning no AF so took a test in afternoon and positive. I had brown spotting about a week ago and my boobs have kind of been sore sometimes but not constant, but yesterday and today I just have a metallic taste in my mouth and that’s it.

Wow that's great! Especially since you felt like you didn't dtd as much/often as usual! Woop woop!
