OPKs - Trying for a Girl

I wondered if anyone could offer some advice here please!

DH and I would like to try for baby 2. We'd ideally like to have a girl, and I'm considering timing sex to a few days before ovulation. I'd really like to be able to predict with accuracy when ovulation will occur so that I can stop having sex a few days before.

I have seen the standard OPK tests, but I'd like even more accuracy. I'm looking for something I can use for a few cycles so that I can really pinpoint when ovulation is each month. Has anyone used anything they would recommend or any advice?

Your best bet to pinpoint ovulation is tracking BBT. Otherwise you just won't know when you ovulate each month - eg I seem to ovulate the same day as my peak OPK whilst others ovulate as late as 2-3 days after.

Saying that - all this tracking is only useful if you ovulate on the same cycle day each cycle. Otherwise it's just a guessing game and none of them can predict ahead of time exactly when you'll ovulate, only confirm it afterwards.
