Very unsual period, thought I was pregnant this cycle. Anyone?

This month I was sure it was it for me, I had so many symptoms most that I had with my daughter. AF came Monday the day it was due so it was disheartening but I thought we go again next cycle.
Usually my periods are so heavy that I was prescribed tablets for the pain and flow. This time I didn’t need them. Monday was red blood but it was so watery, it wasn’t thick how it usually is. Sorry tmi.
Tuesday - no bright blood but it was very pink and watery, Only a coin size amount on the pad (which is unsual to me as I have to wear very big pads for my flow) and change them very often.
I didn’t even have to sleep with a pad last night as there was hardly anything there.
Today I’ve woken up and there is a small amount of watery brown discharge.
This may be normal AF for some people but I’ve had a hell of a time with my periods for years and haven’t experienced something this light before, I know I’m probably not pregnant but the severe change has me wondering

This happened to me two weeks ago, extremely light period compared to normal and only really lasted 1/2 days. It wasn’t much more than spotting. I got a very positive ovulation test a couple of days after the bleeding stopped. Also did a pregnancy test at the same time. Now 2 weeks later, I’m spotting again and haven’t had a positive ovulation/pregnancy test. So I’m thinking I possibly didn’t ovulate in Dec then ovulated after the light bleed and this is my period hopefully starting properly.

Could you have had an anovulatory cycle? Or have you done a pregnancy test?

I’m thinking of speaking to my doctor once I figure out what comes of the latest bleed.

It's annoying isn't it? Not knowing what's happening.
Anything else come of your latest bleed?
Thinking to maybe contact my doctor too, it's very unsual for me as I have such heavy periods. I did do a OPK 14dpo and it was a positive, and I had symptoms since. Was hoping this was my month and I probably convinced myself it was! I need to stop lol.
Took a test today but it's negative but I just feel so weird, may test in a few days!

Sounds like implantation bleeding to me, in which case I don’t think you’d get a BFP until about 2-3 days after the bleeding has stopped. I’d try an FRER at the weekend.

Spoke to my doctor but they weren’t overly helpful. It’s now a full blown period x 2. Seems like 2 months at once so I’m thinking I definitely missed ovulation in December and just had some sort of break through bleed last month... have you had any more progress? X

Hi I thought this might be my month but currently on CD35 and no sign of AF.

I did a pregnancy test 12/14DPO which were negative.

I assume my period is delayed as I have previously had irregular periods, just annoying as I really want to get onto the next cycle!
